Elva miles nordost om Boerne vid 325 Kreutzberg Rd. i det natursköna Texas Hill Country ligger Cave Without a Name, en naturlig, levande grotta, och vissa säger att den är den vackraste i Texas. Grottan ligger 63 km från centrala San Antonio. Det öppnades för allmänna turer 1939 och är utsett till ett nationellt naturligt landmärke. Erfarna guider tar dig med på en rundtur som är både underhållande och lärorik för besökare i alla åldrar. Det börjar med en magisk nedstigning nerför 126 trappsteg som tar dig tillbaka i tiden många tusen år. Åttio fot under ytan håller grottan en konstant temperatur på 66 grader. Vår grotttur låter gästerna ta in upplevelsen i en liten grupp. Kom tidigt eller stanna sent och ha en picknick från dina favoriter i din korg. This cave is a beauty with many different formations and pools. Well lighted and easy walkways, Our guide was knowledgeable and eager to andwer questions, one qualification -- access and exit is by way of a 100+ step stairway.
The pictures do not do justice for how beautiful this cave is. The tour was about an hour long. It was informative and interesting.
This was an amazing tour. The cave was much more extensive than I was expecting. The guides and gift shop folks were knowledgeable and friendly. The gift shop prices were very reasonable for what you’re getting. Highly recommend!
The tour of the cave was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informed us that some formations were over 150,000 years old. It’s very spacious inside which allows for concerts, weddings etc. FYI if someone is mobility impaired there are numerous steep steps to climb down and back up again. There were handrails. It definitely was worth the time to visit.

Our tour guide Jess was so knowledgeable and respectful of the cave. A large group arrived VERY late and she didn't let it derail the tour for the rest of us. She tried to find us a bat and successfully found us a cave cricket! I look forward to my 7 years of good luck after receiving a lucky cave kiss! IYKYK 😉
