En av de mest karakteristiska byarna i Cinque Terre med ett underbart torg, så mycket att det inspirerar pixar disney att skapa den nya tecknade filmen Luca. Vi rekommenderar starkt ett stopp för lunch i de typiska restaurangerna i byn.
Den enda staden i 5 Terre helt byggd på kullen. Tyvärr kommer vi inte ha möjlighet att lägga till då det inte finns någon riktig marina. Utsikten från havet kommer dock fortfarande att vara mer än tillfredsställande
Utsikten från havet i den här byn är galen, som ståtar med en vacker jultradition med reproduktion av födseln på kullen framför byn. Vi kommer att besöka staden från havet med flera minuters stopp framför byn för att ta otroliga bilder
Ursprunget till byn Riomaggiore, enligt en gammal legend som överlämnats muntligt men inte bekräftats av historiska källor, spåras tillbaka till 700-talet. Faktum är att det sägs att en grupp grekiska flyktingar, för att undkomma förföljelserna av den ikonoklastiska kejsaren Leo III Isaurico, efter olika växlingar landade på toppen av Montenero och etablerade bosättningar i åsområdet. Stanna till vid havet för att ta minnesvärda bilder med en galen bakgrund av färgglada hus

Andrea was a great skipper. We motored from a Santa Margherita to his Cinque Terre. The boat was quite luxurious. He taught us about all the small villages along our journey. When we got to Cinque Terre, he had prearranged a lunch in a truely local restaurant - with the best seat in the house. We felt truly spoiled. We stopped for pictures along the way and had lovely conversations and about his love of Italy and the regions z

We had a great time with our captain! He was very flexible with location and time of pick up, and was able to make reservations in advance for lunch at one of the stops. We have a teenager and a 21 year old that loved the cliff diving! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a personalized experience!!
The best part of Cinque Terra was the trip from Portofino by boat and back to Portofino. We were extremely fortunate to have found Andrea. His personality was delightful and his knowledge of each of the five cities was very extensive. When it was lunch time, he was able to make reservations at a spectacular restaurant with an amazing view, even though the restaurant was already totally booked. It would be hard in our estimation to find a better boat captain to enjoy Cinque Terra. I do not want to neglect mentioning his boat, I did not see a better one, it was clean with beautiful lines and handled the seas in comfort.
