The history of the prisoners is cool, the landscape is beautiful but it's not worth the price they charge! Furthermore, you must buy a ticket for the national park, where we just disembark, and in 5 minutes we board the train back. We had seen on the internet pictures of everything completely covered in snow, but it wasn't like that. I don't know if any time of year is like that.
The train itself is well organized, but you have to buy the national park ticket even if you only want to take the train ride; nobody tells you that. Tour bus with cramped space.
Is it worth buying on the website. There is free wifi at the station. So, it's easy to order an Uber. I paid about 120 dollars for a couple and a small child for the tour, without visiting the national park, because in winter there isn't much to do in the park. You have to pay 40000 pesos per person, at the station (you can't pay online) (you can even pay with a card). It's not true that you can't order an Uber from the train station and it's not true that you have to pay in cash for park entry. Paying for the package by companies can cost triple the price. On the train, the announcements are made in several languages, including Portuguese.

The train ride is very cool, especially if it's your first time in the park. They tell the history of the city.
The experience was excellent. We did the Train in the Premium class and we loved the ride. Pretty comfortable. A lot of food was served. The hot chocolate was excellent.
The train ride is fine, but the best part is going to the national park for hiking.

Super scam, horrifically expensive, tourist trap, everything is nonsense, even the river. Full of excuses to take your money. I had to pay for the entrance ticket to the national park again even though I had done it the day before and the train had been canceled. In short! Get out unless you want to pay €60 per person for nonsense. Flee!!!
Buenos días. El día que usted menciona la salida del tren fue cancelada por cuestiones climáticas y de seguridad. Entendemos la molestia ocasionada, pero la entrada al Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego es independiente al servicio del Tren del Fin del Mundo. En su caso, la misma había sido adquirida con validez por un solo día y utilizada durante su visita al parque. Asimismo, lamentamos expresiones como “estafa” o “farsa”, ya que no reflejan el servicio ni la experiencia que diariamente disfrutan miles de visitantes de distintas partes del mundo. Nous comprenons la gêne occasionnée, mais l'entrée au Parc national de la Terre de Feu est indépendante du service du Train du bout du monde. Dans votre cas, celle-ci avait été achetée pour une validité d'une seule journée et utilisée lors de votre visite au parc. De même, nous regrettons l'utilisation de termes tels que « arnaque » ou « farce », car ils ne reflètent ni le service ni l'expérience dont profitent quotidiennement des milliers de visiteurs venus des quatre coins du monde. Not worth what they charge. The train has very tight seats, carrying 6 people in a wagon. It's not comfortable. The landscape is beautiful. A small stop is made, but nothing comparable to the beauty of the national park, this yes, unavoidable, with hallucinating landscapes
