Simona provided a nice balance of showing us the highlights of the city while introducing us to delicacies especially from Catania. The quality of the food places she selected was outstanding with huge portions. The walking pace was perfect for our group. Catania is a beautiful city and I'm glad we were able to see it with Simona.
We had a great experience with Simone and Alejandro! The tour was about three hours long with lots of information about Sicilian culture and the City of Catania. We got to try lots of different food and drinks which were so delicious and fresh tasting. The history of Catania/Sicily is so interesting.
Great for insider knowledge of the city
This tour was our favorite among several fantastic tours we were able to experience during our trip to Europe. Our guide, Simona, was just like having a knowledge, friendly local friend show you around for a stress free and delightful experience. She has a deep knowledge of the location and is so pleasant. The experience really gave us a sense of the culture of Catania. The food was great, the pace of walking and stopping to view sights, take photos, enjoy food and drink was ideal. We enjoyed the food, desserts, seeing amazing vibrant markets with authentic local and high quality products, and historic sights. I highly recommend and will do this exact tour again.
We really enjoyed this small group tour with Simona. You can tell she loves Catania and wanted us to love it too. We walked around, didn't feel too rushed, and tried lots of local foods/treats. It honestly felt more like a relative touring us around town rather than a touring company, which was really nice.

Fabulous tour! Simona provided an awesome introduction to Sicilian cuisine! She also shared a lot of Sicilian history and took us to places with beautiful views! Highly recommend!
Simona offered us a basic insight into Catania life letting us try lots of different foods and giving us an orientation of the city. It was a gentle pace and would suit first time guest to Catania. Not heavy on history or too much information.
This tour was not what I expected, it was more eating than walking .... I would have liked more walking and less eating. Howeve,r the local food was very good and by the end of the evening sufficient and no need for dinner. Our tour host Simona was very knowledgeable and very personal and did make the evening and enjoyable one.
Wonderful experience! It felt like we were discovering Catania with a friend. We booked last minute and were so grateful that Simona was available to show us her City.
