Unforhetable fragrance and flavour of the dish.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of my visit to the Slovenian coast. The tour was exceptionally well organised and offered a unique opportunity to learn about sustainable fish farming, local traditions, and the importance of protecting the marine environment. The team at Fonda Fish Farm was welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about their work. It was fascinating to hear the story behind the fish farm and see firsthand the care and dedication that goes into producing high-quality fish in a sustainable way. The fish, wine, and olive oil tasting was outstanding. Everything was fresh, delicious, and carefully selected, and the hosts took the time to explain the origin and characteristics of each product. The combination of great food, excellent local wines, and beautiful surroundings made for a truly memorable day. What impressed me most was the commitment to sustainability and collaboration with local producers. It was inspiring to see how much can be achieved when people work together while respecting nature and the local community. An unexpected surprise. We had a fantastic introduction to the Fonda fish farm which is really more like a fish garden. The information provided was fascinating and we learned so much. Plus we had the opportunity to take a boat out to see the gardens. They are amazing! And we also had a lovely wine and snack at the end. It was a wonderful time and we highly recommend this experience.

visiting fonda fish farm is something you really shouldn’t skip if visiting the seaside of Slovenia. the owner gave us a tour around the marine and fish pools and it was very informative. you could see that she was talking with great passion for fish and sea, especially sea conservation, sustainability, and biodiversity. and make sure to do the fish and wine tasting, because everything was delicious. overall, a very special experience!!
Totally recommend to visit this sustainable Fish Farm in Slovenia where you will see how growing sea bass, learn interesting information about all fish farming process with boat that would take you from marine. After that you will have degustation with wine and small canapés. Great to visit not only for group of friends but also for families.
