Denna turné har arrangerats för att ge resenärer en lokal upplevelse som kopplar dem till den ghananska kulturen och folket. Det utbildar också resenärer om livet för viktiga personer som Dr. Kwame Nkrumah och WEB Dubois och ger också resenärer en känsla av några av de äldsta städerna i Accra. Resenärer får också chansen att prova några ghananska lokala rätter, interagera med några lokalbefolkningen, observera deras liv och prova några lokala vanor som att äta gatumat.

Dr William Edward Burgardt anses vara panafrikanismens fader. Han blev inbjuden av Ghanas första president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, till Ghana för att redigera ett uppslagsverk över afrikansk historia och fick ett hem att bo i med sin fru tills han gick bort. Hans hem är nu ett museum känt som W.E.B Du Bois Centre. Centret har ställt ut Dr. Du Bois personliga tillhörigheter, hederspriser och många publikationer i hans bibliotek. Hans grav och hustruns kremerade kropp finns också i centrum.
1961, under besöket av drottning Elisabeth II och prins Charles i Ghana, beställdes det svarta stjärntorget, även känt som självständighetstorget, av Ghanas första president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. På torget skulle gästerna få se självständighetsbågen, den svarta stjärnporten och befrielsemonumentet. Platsen är en mycket stor öppen plats avgränsad av läktare med plats för cirka 30 000 personer. Den byggdes för att fira Ghanas självständighet som en symbol för självtillit och en plats för nationell enhet. Utrymmet används för att vara värd för andra nationella, religiösa och kommersiella evenemang som politiska möten och underhållningskonserter.
Arts and Craft Market är en gemenskap av stånd där hantverk och souvenirer inspirerade av den ghananska kulturen som kente-dukar, pärlor, sniderier och många andra tillbehör ställs ut för köp. Gästerna får möjlighet att flytta från stall till stall för att uppskatta och köpa några minnen som minnen från deras besök i Ghana. This was a good tour experience overall. My guide was Suwaibah. She coordinated my airport pickup, and accompanied me throughout the tour. Each stop was a good experience. The driver did a good job too. Only minor criticism is that Suwaibah was very soft spoken, which made it difficult to hear her at times. They dropped me off at my hotel afterwards, as promised.

The Accra City Tour with ProTour Africa was a perfect way for my partner and I to enjoy Accra city. Our favorite part of the city tour was the Art Market. I booked this tour after my visit to the Coast. The locals were very hospitable. I enjoyed Ghana Jollof better. Ghana is a beautiful country, has good food and nice People. I love how the artifacts were displayed at the Ghana national museum.

I did two tours with Pro Tour Africa and the Accra tour was included. This tour was focused on the political history of Ghana which is an interest of mine. My favourite site was the Kwame Nkrumah Museum. I had a great time in Ghana and this tour was a great way to conclude my stay in Ghana. I look forward to my next trip to Ghana.

This was a great tour with my Ghanaian family. We had a great tour and I was able to build up on the knowledge about the history of Ghana while visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Museum and the Independence Square. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Ghana and its people.

This was a great tour in Accra. We visited Dubois center, Black star square, Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum and the arts center. I got to buy a lot to Ghanian prints, beaded and slippers for my family and friends back home. Rashida really did well bargaining to get me the best prices for the things I got. We got some Banku and Tilapia at Chop shop in Osu when we were done. Overall it was a great day and Pro Tour Africa made it worth my time. Thank you for the great tour guys. :)
