Vi är en boutique incoming-byrå och vår passion är att ta hand om varje detalj. Vårt förslag tar dig till en vandringsled som når Laguna Esmeralda. Från hotellet åker vi med bekväm transport till början av leden. Därifrån tar vi stigen som går in i skogen i Tierra Mayor Valley. Vi kommer att korsa flera torvmossar och stenig terräng. Vi kommer att fortsätta vår vandring längs Esmeraldafloden tills vi når den obeskrivliga Laguna Esmeralda, en liten sjö av glacialt ursprung, som har sitt namn till den färg som ges till den av sedimenten som kommer från Ojo del Albino-glaciären. Denna färg kan bara ses på sommaren eftersom den på vintern är frusen och täckt av snö. Medan vi njuter av utsikten över lagunen laddar vi batterierna genom att äta en lunchlåda. Vi kan nu börja återvändandet, där vägen kommer att vara bekant för oss och vi kommer att ha sista tillfället att uppskatta de skönheter som omger oss. Viktigt: ta med en flaska vatten

Vi kommer att åka från staden Ushuaia, mer känd som staden vid världens ände.
Under hela lastbilsturen till början av leden kommer vi att observera fantastiska landskap i Fuegian Valleys.
Lagunen har en unik färg. Efter en och en halv timmes promenad kommer vi fram till lagunen där vi ska hinna inta vår lunchlunch. Vi stannar i ungefär en timme och återvänder längs stigen som tog oss dit.
Vi återvänder till staden vid världens ände, Ushuaia efter att ha besökt den berömda Emerald Lagoon.

On our day of trekking it rained most of the time. It was still a great experience and our guide Mica made sure the path we travel was the safest / easiest. Given the conditions our pace was slower than normal. We walk for approximately 2.5 hours in and then out. The scenery was beautiful. I think the rain made some of the colors more vibrant.

We like to give four stars, especially to Mauro, our guide. He had the difficult task of piloting a very diverse group to the lake and back. The route is beautiful, that's for sure. The pace was particularly slow with us. It shouldn't be a race and being on the road is part of the adventure, but here it sometimes caused frustrations. More than 2.5 hours for 5 kilometers we are just a little too slow.

The stand‑out excursion of our entire South America trip. Our small‑group trek ended up being just the two of us plus one other guest, guided by Manu. Manu judged the pace perfectly — enough to keep us moving but with time for photos and to take in the scenery. He was informative, thoughtful and even chose a quieter alternative route back from the lagoon so we could enjoy different views away from the crowds. The landscape was absolutely breathtaking and this really is a must‑do experience. The packed lunch was hand‑made, generous and clearly prepared with care, and we appreciated the hot drink at the lake. Walking poles were provided too, which some people will find helpful. Pick‑up and drop‑off were smooth and straightforward - the driver was Marcio. They’re very clear before booking that proper hiking footwear and clothing are essential — and it’s easy to see why. Walking shoes were fine for us, but trainers would have been a mistake. An unforgettable day and one we’d recommend wholeheartedly.

We did the activity in mid-December and it was raining the entire day. Yet, the trail was nice and the lagoon color and view was worth taking the walk in the rain and mud.

Well organised, relatively easy hike with beautiful views. You will walk through mud, so hiking boots are a must. A hiking pole is helpful on the way down, but if you are an experienced hiker with good balance, you probably won't need it on the way up.

Fantastic experience. But it is exhausting for those who are not used to trekking. Very kind and attentive guide. Lunch provided by the company is also great. Beautiful way. I highly recommend.
