We booked the Ella Icons tour and had a wonderful time. The scenery was incredible, and our guide made sure we saw all the important attractions comfortably. Great experience overall.

We had an amazing experience exploring Ella with this tour company. The guide was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. Everything was well organized, and we enjoyed every stop during the journey. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ella.

What a fantastic day on the bike . We loved it . Lots of time to take in the sights , a leisurely ride with the reassurance that the back up crew were on hand. Had lunch near Yala , and then drove back in the van . The team really look after you . We are experienced cyclists but it was reassuring to have friendly local support. Shan was great ! Nice relaxed guide, who liked to take pictures of us when we asked and offered it himself. He also knew all the nicest and most beautiful places for photos so that was really great. Bike ride was also nice, only sometimes uphill tough, lighter gears or electric is more pleasant I think.

We went on a cycling tour with Sam around Ella and then took the train back to Ella. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and stopped to explain and give lots of info along the way. He adjusted his pace to suit us and was always happy to stop and take photos, answer questions. Both we - and our kids of 13 and 15 loved it. It was hot but Sam provided water and a tuktuk was always close by following us along the way. The cycling tour went through the tea plantations and along side the rice fields. We stopped to admire the 9 arch bridge and watched the train go by and then returned our bikes to the tuk tuk and took a third class train back home with the locals. Loved it! Highly recommend as a way to get active and see the real Sri Lanka. Special thanks to Sam and your colleague who drove us back from the station and even made a short stop at the supermarket on the way home for us! :)

Had a very nice bike ride in Ella with our guide Dila. Cycle through the hills to the nine Arch bridge. During the trip I got an explanation about the tea plantations, rice fields and various other local products such as cinnamon and peppers. At the end of the journey by train back to Ella and drove over the nine arch bridge. Dila spent it very nice.

Ella Excursion is not the most reliable partner. We had booked a taxi pick-up from Sigiriya to Kandy through Ella Excursion. We already waited an hour, no info from Ella Excursion, no one available by phone at first. After several attempts, they said the taxi was broken, force majeure. We were given a number for replacements, but it had no capacity. In short, Ella Excursion didn't care how to get to Kandy, luckily we were able to organize something through the hotel, but that then cost 60 USD more. No compensation from Ella Excursion. We also had a bike ride booked in Ella. At least we were picked up here from the hotel, but already right on departure the first bike was broken. We were still at the starting point and so an exchange was not complicated. During the tour, however, the chain broke on another bike, our son fell. Now it took a little longer with the replacement. So the wheels are not in good condition. Our guide was great though, he showed us a lot and we had a lot of fun. Thanks to the guide, we would recommend the bike ride anyway. But be careful with Ella Excursion. Also in Ella we got neither a discount nor an apology from Ella Excursion.
