We had a wonderful experience with Feliz Yau's dumpling-making class in Hong Kong and would highly recommend it! The experience started with a tour of the local market, where Feliz explained the different foods, ingredients, and products available. She shared helpful tips on what was worth trying, what to buy, and what to avoid, which made the market visit both educational and enjoyable. The cooking class itself was private, relaxed, and easy to follow. Feliz was patient and knowledgeable, making the process fun for beginners while still teaching authentic techniques. She also provided us with the recipe so we can recreate the dumplings at home, which we are excited to do. In fact, we're already planning a dumpling-making party with friends and family so we can share what we learned and relive the experience. Tea and water were provided during the class, which was a nice touch. Best of all, the dumplings turned out absolutely delicious! If you're visiting Hong Kong and looking for a unique and memorable culinary experience, this class is definitely worth doing.

We loved our cooking class with Feliz! The market was interesting as we would not have otherwise visited, and the class was hosted in a nice cafe. We learned how to make different shapes of dumplings and Feliz was great at answering our questions. Looking forward to making them with the recipe when we get home!

Our dumpling making experience with Feliz was so much fun! Walking through the local market with her was such a special part of the experience. She took the time to explain ingredients, share cultural insights, and help us truly appreciate the process behind the food. Back in the kitchen, Feliz was an incredible teacher. She broke everything down in a way that made it approachable and fun, and before we knew it, we were confidently making dumplings ourselves. What meant the most to us was learning her family recipe. It’s something we’ll genuinely cherish and carry forward. we’re already looking forward to recreating it at home and sharing it with our friends and family. It feels like we’re bringing a piece of this experience back with us. We can’t recommend this class enough. If you’re looking for something authentic, meaningful, and delicious, this is it. My daughter (12) and I loved our dumpling class with Feliz. It was my favorite experience of our visit to Hong Kong. We first walked through the market where she purchased ingredients for our dumplings and showed us local foods. Then we made our dough, prepared the filling, and finally shaped our dumplings. They were delicious! Feliz was a great instructor and we’d love to come back to learn the soup dumplings on our next trip.

We had a great experience at the dumpling class. Feliz was a great instructor - very friendly and clear with instructions. She also had a lot of good suggestions on things to do in Hong Kong, and the walk through the Temple Street Market was fun and informative. We would recommend this class to anybody visiting Hong Kong with an interest in food!

We loved Feliz’s class! We enjoyed both the market walk where we learnt a lot about Hong Kong food culture, and the cooking experience itself. The atmosphere at the cafe where we cooked was cozy and relaxing, so we really had time to enjoy the process of making dumplings from scratch. The result was great, and we appreciated the high quality of the products picked up by Feliz. Definitely recommended :)

We had the most wonderful time with Feliz. Firstly, we did a tour of the markets asks learned a huge amount about the stall food but also all the fresh fruits and vegetables on display. Next was the wet market to buy the organic pork before heading to a cute little cafe for the cooking class. Feliz is clearly and expert and was very patient with us both. We must of been ok as the food at the end was excellent! Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Hong Kong

The whole experience was great. The walk through the market was informative and the class was very enjoyable. The instructions were clear and the hands-on experience was especially good. Felis is a great teacher.

Very fun experience with plenty to eat. If I come back to Hong Kong I would definitely do it or one of the other classes again!
