Låt oss gå på en 2,5 timmars rundvandring i Belfast centrum som en lokalbo. Och när vi går ska jag måla en bild av dess förflutna, nutid och framtid, på en resa av hur det var och hur det kommer att bli nu när dammet äntligen har lagt sig, på en plats full av människor som bara är glada att vara här. Vi börjar vid Belfast City Hall, Discover the Entries där Belfast föddes, och promenerar längs floden Lagan för att upptäcka I.C.C.C Exibition Centre och Waterfront Hall, och passerar sedan Big Fish, tittar ut för att se Titanics födelseplats, och fortsätter sedan genom Cathedral Quarter. Upptäcka Street Art som vi går.

Efter att ha upptäckt rådhuset och hört en beskrivning av var Belfast kom ifrån och fick en bakgrund av hur perioden som kändes som problemen är ifrån varandra och förankrad i födelsen av Belfast.
Du kommer att se och höra mindre kända fakta om denna plats för tillbedjan och se grottan och närliggande streetart.
Här kommer vi att gå på de smala gatorna som staden föddes på och höra om dess kopplingar till slavhandeln och andra rebelliska lokalbefolkningen
Vi kommer då att upptäcka området Belfast där det skänktes ära av staden av drottning Victoria.
Du kommer att passera längs floden Lagan, se ut till havet / Se området som nu kallas Titanic Quarter och upptäcka Waterfront Hall. (ICC Belfast)
Här kommer vi att se Beacon of Hope Belfast.
Och det är i katedralområdet vi tittar på gatukonst och väggmålningar och hör om hur Belfast och dess folk kommer samman för att förena och bygga ett ljusare utrymme för alla, genom det finns många fria festivaler, kreativa organisationer och nya industrier.

Booked a tour with Marti on our first day in Belfast, and what a good idea that was! Despite the rainy weather, he provided a fun, informative, and unique perspective of the city that ended up being a great primer for the rest of our trip. Having arrived in Belfast on Saturday afternoon after a 30+ hour journey from Australia, we were seeking a top-quality introduction to Belfast and its history together with the right level of entertainment. We struck it lucky with Marti. The history of Belfast is complex and Marti was terrific in taking us through the significant milestones in Belfast history before we set off walking around the city. We would have NEVER (ever) noticed or seen the endless landmarks or points of history which he explained to us, linking the stories together. Marti is a passionate lover of history, Ireland and of course Belfast and I con confidently confirm that he single-handedly helped us piece together a framework of knowledge which was both so interesting and informative. Marti’s Tours are most definitely unique🙏

Our tour guide, Marty, was extremely knowledgeable all things Belfast. He gave us a history lesson at the beginning to lay the groundwork for the remainder of the tour. We walked all over Belfast and he knew facts about so many of the establishments, the buildings, the best food fare, drinks. Oh and people recognized him and the friendly greetings between them was sweet. I very much recommend this tour and I planning to do his other tours upon returning to Belfast. Oh we did go have a Belfast coffee upon his recc and it did not disappoint 🍀🍀🍀

Although Marti had a ton of knowledge about the history or Belfast, he spent too much time talking about it before we even started our walking tour. But to his credit he spent longer than the time allotted with us. The later part of or tour was great. He definitely is a personable chap.

We thoroughly enjoyed Marti's eclectic tour of Belfast. Our coach tour of Ireland provided a lot of information;we wanted to hear more about the city and its history. So much of what we heard about Belfast was about conflict and violence. Marti provided excellent background on the history of Belfast and filled in many gaps; but, he also wants people to know that most residents, no matter their personal beliefs, simply want to live in peace. He showed us many hidden gems along the 2.5-hour walk. By the end, we felt like we really knew the city and had a greater appreciation for those who call Belfast home.

This bespoke Eclectic Tour was a great afternoon combining the history and culture of Belfast. Stopping off at the fabulous Sawers midway for some local delicacies was a lovely treat too. Marti was very knowledgeable and his passion for the city shone through! The Belfast Chamber team learned a lot more about Belfast through the years from all the fab facts and there were plenty of laughs along the Marti Way too!
