Great Experience!!! Guides were so nice and knowledgeable. Horses were kind and gentle. Great views!
This experience was much better than I ever imagined. Lani was a great horse and was so easy to ride (I’m a beginner). She a Virgo horse hat loves butt scratches and love people. Our tour guide was so personable. My group of friends had to take an uber to the camp and they were waited extra time to make sure we got picked up. If I were to go horse back riding again I would pick this place everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Great views. Great pictures. 10/10 is not high enough.
10/10! The guides are so lovely and competent, the horses were all so calm and clearly well cared for. The trail was absolutely beautiful and had the most amazing views, our guide stopped and took pictures of us at the midway point and at the end we got to spend a little time with our horses and feed them treats if we wished, my horse Pono was such a handsome gentlemen and was just a pleasure to ride 🤍 My partner had never been on a horse before and the guides were so helpful and his horse Lady was also so gentle and calm with him 🤎 thank you so much for such a lovely afternoon, we definitely will remember it forever 🐴🌴⛰️🌊

Had a great experience and highly recommend for anyone interested. Ciara ran a great trail ride and it was clear everyone’s safety and satisfaction was her focus. The horse are great, well tempered and amazingly cared for. I rode shaggy and he was a brilliant, well trained horse Will be back again

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful, relaxed, and scenic horseback riding opportunity while on vacation. We found Sunshine Mountain Vista Horseback Trail Ride on Oahu. Let me tell you that the staff was AWESOME! The walked us through the safety briefing, answered questions and got us on our horses in no time. The animals were just BEAUTIFUL and the trail was was very scenic. Took wonderful and memorable pictures, our guide was a ROCK STAR! All in all a wonderful experience for our 30th Anniversary. We would recommend Sunshine Mountain Vista Horseback Trail Ride on Oahu to anyone that wants a calm and relaxed atmosphere with great staff and beautiful animals.
My wife and I wanted to do a causal horseback riding experience.. The facilities were clean and well maintained, the staff was AWESOME and our tour guide “Mo” was the best. The path we went on was good and easy. The animals were well behaved and so beautiful. Got to see nature at its best, the scenery was breathtaking! Our tour guide took photos for us and helped position us to maximize the beauty of our surroundings. I’m a beginner rider and my wife is more experienced. The tour guide walked us through everything we need to know about riding, the animals and the terrain. Overall experience was wonderful and would highly recommend this location and our tour guide Mo to everyone!

What a fantastic trail ride. Great for anyone who wants to enjoy horses, amazing views and great guides. Alisa was great . Took my grandaughter on hee firat ever horse ride/trail ride. It was perfect!
In the years I have traveled and done tours I have never left bad reviews, but I feel this one is necessary. I booked a 90-minute horseback tour for two and paid around $350, expecting a beautiful and memorable experience based on the description. Unfortunately, it was far from what was promised. The ride started late and then felt rushed from the moment it began. It only lasted about 35 minutes nowhere close to the 90 minutes advertised. The staff did not greet us warmly or made us feel welcome, which was surprising because the rest of our time in Hawaii was filled with kindness and aloha everywhere else. The tour guide rushed through everything, including taking pictures, making the whole experience feel careless and unprofessional. We didn’t feel relaxed or taken care of at all. On top of that, the trail was not scenic like the photos suggested just branches, burned trees, and nothing like the advertised views. For the price and what was promised, this was extremely disappointing, and I do not recommend this tour. I hope they improve their customer service, honesty in advertising, and the overall quality of the experience.

Regarding the landscape, what may have appeared as “burned” trees are actually native Koa trees, which naturally produce a dark sap that can give the bark that appearance.
