Amazing experience! Our driver Gary was exceptionally knowledgeable about the region and the wineries. Our hosts were very friendly and incredibly welcoming. Would not hesitate booking again on our next visit. Bonus discount on Canadian deliveries at flat shipping rates was unexpected but very welcome.

There were were two American women on the tour who had to be back at a certain time and did not tell the tour until the last hour of the trip which the guide cut the trip short for the other 9 people to accommodate the two woman. I found that extremely inconsiderate of everyone else’s time, we paid the same as they did. We felt really rushed because of two people with poor time management. The guide at lucketts also was rushed and the first this she said upon our arrival was about being understaffed and not having the time to give us the full experience she rushed through everything and said she would skip some stuff “we’ve probably heard before” which I found unprofessional and cheap on behalf of the vineyard. They should be staffing properly. Grand pre had a wonderful guide and so was Benjamin bridge, both were full of knowledge and very attentive which made up for lucketts lack of staff and time.

An enjoyable late morning and afternoon tour where we visited three different vineyards. It took approximatley an hour each way and each vineyard was different. Cheese pairing at the first was good fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon escape tour with our extremely engaged, knowledgeable and friendly guide, Terri. She filled the bus drive to the valley with really interesting historical and cultural information. It was just the right length and a nice variety of 3 wineries, each also providing a very good tour host and tastings. All together a terrific way to see the Annapolis Valley, learn about the wine industry in NS and enjoy a lovely afternoon. We would highly recommend for locals and tourists alike.

The 3 different properties we visited on the tour were all beautiful and unique in their own way. The drive out to them was beautiful as well. Our tour guide and driver Colleen was friendly and knowledgeable. However, this tour was scheduled for 5 hours with a departure time of 11:30am. One would reasonably expect the tour to conclude around 4:30pm leaving plenty of time for the 5:30pm "all aboard" deadline for passengers boarding a cruise ship. Right? Wrong. The tour went over by a full hour. We didn't leave the last property until the time we should have arrived back in Halifax at 4:30pm. This now subjected us to some extra traffic as well as jeopardized my wife and I getting back on our ship. We communicated our concern with our driver Colleen who initially said we had plenty of time and that she would drop us off at the cruise pier AFTER we let everyone else off at the Marriott hotel which was where the tour began. When I spoke up to tell her that according to GPS our arrival time at the Marriott was 5:30pm and that if we stopped there first my wife and I would miss our ship she said "well, that's the risk you take getting off the ship, right?" and "we as a private tour don't guarantee we'll get you back to the ship in time." As you can imagine that unprofessional and rude remark didn't sit well with me. I then reminded her that the tour was scheduled for 5 hours and that she went over the time by an hour. After saying that she agreed to take us to the pier first. We arrived at 5:28pm with TWO minutes to spare... My recommendation would be for management to update the time line of their tour to 6 hours or coach Colleen on time management and the importance of getting people back on time. Something no other private tour operator has had an issue with either on this cruise or the several others we've done.

We were in Halifax, from Cochrane, Alberta, for a two week vacation. We spent most days exploring and enjoying all that downtown and the waterfront offered. We found ourselves in the Hydrostone Neigbourhood, and saw a 'Grape Escapes' tour van and decided to give it a shot. The booking process was quick and easy. We were picked up, along with 7 strangers, at the designated meeting location. Coleen, our driver and tour guide greeted us in a relaxed, friendly manner, and we were off and running. The one hour trip to wine country was beautifully adorned with the colours of Autumn. Coleen kept us informed and entertained the entire trip. A history lesson on wheels. The wineries were wonderful, however Coleen's attention to our comfort and enjoyment was the icing on the cake. Her humour and wit left us with permanent smiles. Highly recommended. Ask for Coleen. Pick up was on time and easy to spot when they arrived. Our tour guide Paul was very professional. He had a broad knowledge of the area and history. He was a great storyteller! We very much enjoyed his commentary! The vineyard were amazing! We sampled some amazing wines and found some new favourites! Would recommend this tour. Ask for Paul.

This was our first wine tasting tour and it was so much fun. The tour guide and the presenters at the wine tasting were knowledgeable and congenial. The wines were excellent and just the right amount of time at each winery to enjoy it. Loved all the wineries and was sad we were leaving the next day, so we couldn't do it again.

Excellent experience from one end to the other! Our driver and guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable about the area and made the trip very pleasant and entertaining. The wine presentations were very good and we were able to taste between 12 and 15 wines and alcoholic beverages.
