Ingenting säger jul som Dyker Heights, den mest kända uppvisningen av ljus på planeten. Lokalbefolkningen har dekorerat sina hem – personligt och professionellt – sedan 80-talet, vilket gör det till ett riktigt NYC vinterunderland. TUREN KOMMER ATT GÅ I REGN ELLER GLANS! Resan från Midtown till Dyker Heights i Brooklyn är ungefär en timme lång ombord på vår bekväma buss fullt uppvärmd med en toalett ombord. Din guide kommer att eskortera dig till Lucy Spatas hus, huset som startade denna tradition, och leda dig genom de mest upplysta gatorna innan du tar dig tillbaka till bussen. Du kommer att spendera ungefär en timme i Dyker Heights med att strosa runt och ta bilder. Nästa stopp blir vid foten av Brooklyn Bridge i området DUMBO/Brooklyn Heights i Brooklyn. Du kommer att ha cirka 25 minuter på dig att ta bilder av Manhattans hisnande silhuett och bron. Sedan kommer du tillbaka till Manhattan via Manhattan Bridge. Turnén avslutas i Bryant Park Winter Village.

Detta är det viktigaste stoppet för vår turné. (Observera: bussar är inte tillåtna i Dyker Heights på grund av de smala gatorna). Din guide kommer att eskortera dig till de två mest upplysta gatorna och orientera dig. Du har sedan en timme att utforska och ta bilder på egen hand.
Sluta upp för att njuta av spektakulär utsikt över Brooklyn Bridge och den hisnande Manhattan Skyline upplyst! (Obs! Varaktigheten kan vara mellan 20-30 minuter beroende på trafik.)
Här slutar vår turné. Bryant Parks Winter Village är en marknad med över 150 bås som säljer säsongsbetonad mat, dryck och gåvor samt en stor skridskoåkning med skridskoåkning. Du kan njuta av utsikten över det färgstarka Bryant Park julgran och köpa en av de bästa heta choklad i stan. Rockefeller Center och dess träd ligger bara några minuters promenad härifrån.

The tour tour guide and bus driver did not even know the proper route and ended up making us take an extra hour getting back. There were way too many people, and they couldn't even keep us all together. We were told to be back at a certain time if we got separated, and we ended up waiting a half hour for the rest of the tour group to get back. This was probably the worst Villa tour I've ever done.
There aren't many words to say. Open your eyes and enjoy the spectacle of Natale.sensaziinale really deserves to be visited.

This was a very cool and touristy experience on our recent trip to NYC. It was just SO crowded, which was expected since it was so close to the holidays. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere! The additional stops on the tour were also cool.
I would rate this a 4-5 star for the sights bc they are definitely beautiful. However, I would give it a 3 as far as convenience & comfort. Be ready to walk a lot outside. If you aren't semi-in shape or have mobility issues this is not for you. Bundle up...it was cold and your outside at least 1 hour. Also, be sure to bring your own water or beverages. When you get to Dyker Heights, there are local vendors selling drinks/food but the tour guide advised not to purchase. Be sure to use the bathroom before bc there are NONE and you walk a good hour and are on the bus about 45 mins before and after (the description for this said restroom on bus but there was not). The Christmas lights were beautiful but were SO many people, it was hard to get really good photographs. Lots of shoving and pushing. Im glad I got to see it but wouldn't do again.
Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable and made our tour very fun and engaging this trip will be a tradition for us when we visit NY again for the holiday season
This was such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Alvin was very knowledgeable about the history of the Christmas decorations at Dyker Heights. He was very patient and made sure we had the best experience. I’d recommend this to anyone in NYC during Christmas time.
Not worth it. We walked a few blocks and there were only like 3 houses to look at. I would not do it again.
Nice experience .. took the hassle out of driving to Brooklyn from Midtown. Plenty of time to walk around. Nice stop at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge.
A Jaw dropping display of lights. There were Great photo ops of the NYC skyline with a little Manhattan History Lesson thrown in.
