Ön Lokrum kommer vi att besöka den största av Dubrovniks grottor, kallad Pidgeons grotta. Avskilt, på den yttre sidan av ön, är dess ingång omgiven av branta klippor och medelhavsgrönska som sticker ut från klipporna. Du kan föreställa dig dess tillkomst, hur de enorma och starka vågorna som slår mot klipporna i tusentals år har format detta naturliga underverk.
Fort Lovrjenac som ofta kallas "Dubrovniks Gibraltar", är en fästning och teater utanför den västra muren av staden Dubrovnik i Kroatien, 37 meter (121 fot) över havet.[1] Känd för sina pjäser och betydelse för att motstå venetianskt styre, överskuggar den de två ingångarna till staden, från havet och landvägen. Tidigt på 1000-talet försökte venetianerna bygga ett fort på samma plats där Fort Lovrijenac för närvarande står. Om de hade lyckats, skulle de ha hållit Dubrovnik under sin makt, men stadens folk slog dem till det. "Krönikorna om Ragusa" avslöjar hur fortet byggdes inom bara tre månader och sedan ständigt rekonstruerades. När de venetianska skeppen anlände, fulla av material för byggandet av fortet, blev de tillsagda att återvända till Venedig.
The Walls of Dubrovnik är en serie av defensiva stenmurar som omger staden Dubrovnik. Vallar byggdes i de yttre områdena av staden, inklusive bergssluttningarna som en del av en uppsättning statyer från 1272. De befintliga stadsmurarna byggdes huvudsakligen under 1200-1600-talen. Murarna löper en oavbruten bana på cirka 1 940 meter (6 360 fot) i längd, som omger större delen av den gamla staden, och når en maximal höjd på cirka 25 meter (82 fot)
Villa Sheherezade har ett exklusivt läge i hjärtat av Dubrovnik. Ursprungligen byggd 1929 av den rika ryske juden, Vilim Zimdin, för att hedra sin mystiska älskarinna vid namn Sheherezade, efter vilken villan fortfarande är uppkallad.
Redan på 1300-talet, efter uppkomsten av epidemier av smittsamma sjukdomar, beslutade Dubrovniks regering att bygga de första karantänerna för att isolera resenärer och undersöka varor avsedda för distribution, och 1590 började bygget av Lazareti i Ploče och varade till 1642.

Beautiful views of the wall and island. Boat is well maintained and the young Captain was wonderful and very informative. If you are prone to sea sickness this adventure is not for you, the seas are choppy. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time on this sunset boat trip with Jakov/Jacob. It was such a lovely chilled experience with a friendly skipper who was very knowledgeable and took great care when the sea was choppy. We particularly enjoyed the music and the drinks were good too. All in all a fantastic experience and a great way to see this beautiful city/old town :)

Our skipper Mario was lovely. Prompt and professional. Hubby and I had the pleasure of a private sunset experience. Drinks were offered and we connected to the Bluetooth speaker and played some time tracks for 1.5hrs. Mari warned me that the waters were abit choppy due to the windy. I got sea sick towards the end of the cruise. The waters were wilder than I expected but a great experience none the less.
