Mostar är den största staden i regionen och är känd för sin bro som sträcker sig över floden Neretva. Stari Most, eller "Gamla bron", byggdes ursprungligen på 1500-talet och har sedan dess blivit en symbol för staden. Du kan också utforska gamla stan, besöka Koski Mehmed Pasha-moskén och prova lite traditionell bosnisk mat i en av de lokala restaurangerna.
Ston är en liten stad som ligger på Peljesachalvön, cirka en timmes bilresa från Dubrovnik. Den är mest känd för sina imponerande försvarsmurar, som ursprungligen byggdes på 1300-talet för att skydda staden från inkräktare. Murarna sträcker sig över fem kilometer och är de längsta försvarsmurarna i Europa, vilket gör dem till en populär attraktion för besökare. Förutom murarna är staden också känd för sina ostron och andra skaldjur, som skördas från det närliggande havet. Det finns flera restauranger i staden där du kan prova dessa färska, lokala delikatesser. Andra anmärkningsvärda sevärdheter i Ston inkluderar Saltworks Museum, som ger en inblick i historien om saltproduktion i regionen, och Franciskanerklostret, som går tillbaka till 1300-talet och har vacker gotisk arkitektur.
Sedan 2006 har vi etablerat 22 hektar nya vingårdar och 1700 olivträd på den nya platsen för Kroatiens yngsta vinodlingsområde, som heter Komarna. Konceptet med Komarnas vinodlingsområde, där alla producenter är registrerade ekologiska, skapades av vår familj och vi initierade också ett projekt. 2012 byggde vi en vingård som uppfyller de högsta tekniska standarderna för produktion av vin på vingårdens territorium. På vår vingård tillhör 90% av vinstockarna de inhemska sorterna Plavac mali och Pošip, tillsammans med den något bortglömda sorten Tribidrag. För att hedra vår farfar och farfars farfar, som var den första vinmakaren i vår familj, bär vingården hans smeknamn, Rizman.

Booked a transfer with Mateo B. with an hour option at Ston, Croatia. Mateo was meticulous in contacting me a day before the trip to confirm the meeting point and he was early. As I had visited Ston the day before on an oyster & mussels tour, I asked him to change to a mid point for lunch. On the way, he stopped and showed us the Arboretum Trsteno park to stretch our legs. For lunch, he took us to Rizman Slivno winery and vineyard where we had a wonderful lunch with stunning views of the coast below. Finally we stopped by Kliss Fortress for a toilet stop and quick photos of the fort. We arrived Split and he stayed with us until i confirmed the hotel booking. As we will be in Split for 3 days, he even followed up with a message of a contact i could call should I need transportation. This is A+ service and we very much appreciated the extra time Mateo put in to show us around.
