If you’re visiting Dubrovnik, do yourself a favor and book this walking tour first. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging , the kind of person who clearly loves their city and wants you to love it too. We covered the main highlights of the Old Town but also ducked into spots I never would have found on my own in a way that made wandering around afterward so much more meaningful. Small group size meant we could ask questions freely and really chat. An absolute highlight of our time in Dubrovnik. Highly recommended!

Hands down, #1 walking tour we have taken. My husband and I do a walking tour in each city we travel to. This surpasses all the others. It started when we contacted the tour company, because the day we were looking to do the tour, that day was not available. Damir quickly responded and let us know he would open the day up for us. He did, and we booked it. When we showed up for a tour, we were alone, a private tour. The information Damir shared with us, about the city, but also his life experience growing up with the city walls, was amazing. Damir took his time answering all our questions, while guiding us through life within Dubrovnik. We stopped at an amazing woman’s home, were we sat, had coffee, bread with dipping oils, candied orange peels, candied almonds, and muffins to die for (not made with sugar or chocolate). We normally do not buy much to take home with us from our travels, but we walked out of her home with a bag full of goodies. Days later, we are still talking about this tour and professionalism from Damir. Thank you, Damir, for the memories.

A great tour of the historic center with Slenja a real local in English. The tour starts early which avoids the crowds. Slenja told us many anecdotes from the time of the Republic of Ragusa to the War of Independence. She recommended several addresses that were charming. The shop visited during the tour offers delicious local gifts.

Fabulous, informative tour! Damir was awesome and we had such a great time. He was so helpful from the moment we booked the tour, making sure we knew where to meet, etc. We learned so much about Dubrovnik and it's history, met some local merchants and saw the coolest sights. We want to come back and will definitely book with Damir again for some more adventures!

We did the Dubrovnik History Tour with Damir today. The tour was excellent and included a very interesting outline of the history of Dubrovnik, a look at the highlights of Dubrovnik, some hidden gems and a stop at an authentic shop where we were able to try some local produce and a coffee. Damir was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging and made the tour very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Damir was our Dubrovnik HistoryTour guide today and the experience was fabulous. The knowledge he shared about this beautiful city in such a short amount of time was pitched perfectly and we were privileged to see some of Dubrovnik’s hidden gems.
