This was a great bus tour, with all the information you needed. But what really made it, was the driver named. Ger. He was so funny, with songs, and conversation that made the trip so different. You almost had entertainment with a bus dropping you off at places of interest. Well done Ger, you made our day.
The Dublin DODublin green bus Hop on Hop off was fantastic and one of the best we have done. We went on both routes and hopped on and off a couple of times so we experienced a number of tour guides/drivers. All were excellent! A thing that all the drivers did well was to explain the stops, explain when and where to get the other route's bus, the times between pickups and generally provided excellent information. I liked having the pre recorded talk as well as the driver's commentary. It was annoying and frustrating when groups of tourists came upstairs and continued their loud conversations - we couldn't hear the recording nor the live guide. It happened a LOT. On our last route, the driver told people to stop talking and that was appreciated but it would be good if it is said more often. If people use the headphones there are less conversations The buses were modern, clean, punctual and easy to find.
Overall, the Dublin Hop-On Hop-Off bus was a good way to see the city, and most of the service was enjoyable. However, we had a frustrating experience at the end of the day. We were waiting at Stop 2 for one of the last Docklands tour buses, but it drove straight past us without stopping, despite us clearly waiting at the designated stop. This left us stranded and put a dampener on an otherwise good experience. I hope the company can improve reliability, especially for the last buses of the day.

A very good bus tour covering a lot of sites. Our driver was very entertaining and loved to sing Irish songs - he was actually good! He was also very knowledgeable and told us interesting things about buildings we were passing that were not planned stops. Would highly recommend this tour to get a good snapshot of the area.

I had the pleasure of taking a bus tour with Johnny today and I could not recommend it enough! The tour route is well planned to give you a really nice overview of the city and plenty of inspiration for other tourist attractions to visit throughout your stay in Dublin. Would especially recommend the Dublin Docklands tour for some parts of the city you might not expect to see otherwise. Johnny gave a really interesting and humorous tour - I was very impressed by the breadth of his knowledge about the city. Even as someone who has grown up in Dublin I was pleasantly surprised to learn plenty of new things about the city. This tour is a must-do for anyone in Dublin, whether visitor or local!

I can't say enough about our experience on this Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour - it is not your normal tour with a recorded announcer. You get a live person sharing all the details and being really funny in the process. Absolutely will only book this company going forward! Thank you!

I normally do the city sightseeing red bus tours but the hotel had a leaflet for this and the stop was only 10 minutes walk from us so we decided to give it a go. We went to the end of the loop then jumped on another one to carry on from stop 1. Both drivers were absolutely brilliant. They were informative, funny and drove very safely. Great value and would thoroughly recommend.
