Fortsätt genom det saxiska landet till staden Dresden, känd för sin fantastiska ombyggda arkitektur och moderna kulturhistoria. Efter en utsökt lunch i en lokal restaurang, upptäck denna rika stad med medeltida grundar och populär som en kurort och kunglig tillflyktsort. Zwinger galleri Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister i Dresden, Tyskland, visar cirka 750 målningar från 15 till 1700-talet. Det innehåller stora italienska renässansverk samt holländska och flamländska målningar. Utestående verk av tyska, franska och spanska målare från perioden hör också till galleriets attraktioner. - Observera att galleriet kommer att stängas till 28 februari och du kommer att besöka Royal Palace istället. Besök några av dess historiska monument som Kungliga palatset, som en gång var navet för makten för de saxiska prinserna och kungarna. Förstnämndes på 1300-talet som ett slottkomplex, och den fyrkantiga palatsstrukturen utvecklades på 1400-talet.

An easy walk in a well paved park, with beautiful views of the bridge. Our guide, Rob was amazing! He shared his knowledge, but also sought to engage and communicate with all of the travellers on the trip. His tips to make the best of Dresden were super helpful. The itinerary product is best suited to someone looking for a comfortable and relaxed day looking at beautiful nature and historical sights.
This was a perfect day trip from Prague. Our guide Mirek was right on time, friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful all day. We learned a lot, saw great sights, and fun. The mix of Dresden for history and architecture, a lovely small German village for lunch, and the solders of nature in “Saxon Switzerland” was great. Mirek ensured we had ample food, water and breaks, so we were comfortable too.
Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, personable, and attentive throughout the day—and I want to make clear that our disappointment was with the tour itself, not with our guide. We originally booked a tour that included Dresden and Bastei Bridge, but it was canceled the night before because there were not enough participants. We were offered this alternative, which included a hike through the river gorge and Bastei Bridge. Unfortunately, the gorge portion was not what we had hoped for. The hike was quite steep, and the area has been significantly affected by a fire in recent years. After the hike, the boat ride through the gorge lasted only about 10 minutes and felt a little kitschy. For the amount of time and effort involved in getting there and hiking through the gorge, it simply wasn’t a highlight for us. Bastei Bridge and the surrounding scenery, on the other hand, were beautiful and absolutely worth seeing. In retrospect, we would have much preferred spending more time exploring the Bastei Bridge area and adding the nearby natural rock arch rather than doing the gorge and boat ride. Again, our guide did an excellent job with the itinerary he was given. We just wish the replacement tour had been designed differently, particularly since our original Dresden and Bastei tour was canceled with so little notice.

Everyone experiences these destinations differently, and I appreciate your perspective, especially regarding spending more time around Bastei and exploring other nearby highlights instead. Regarding the cancellation of your original Dresden & Bastei tour, we always try to wait until the very last moment before making the decision, as bookings remain open until 8 PM on the evening before the tour. This is why cancellations can sometimes unfortunately happen at short notice. We do require a minimum number of participants to operate our small-group tours effectively, as stated in our terms and conditions, and when that minimum is not met, unfortunately, we are unable to operate the tour. That said, I am really happy to hear that, despite the disappointment with the change of itinerary, you still had an amazing day and loved your tour guide. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, it is genuinely helpful to us.
We had a great tour and Sky was awesome! Beautiful sights, comfortable drive, tasty lunch and the day went by too fast. Only wish was that we had more time in Dresden and came back to Prague later.
Merrick was a wonderful guide … would recommend . Small tour was so nice we beat the big crowded tours on bastei bridge and our tour guide took some great shots for us . Got to meet people from across the world … and the lunch option we got was the best I’ve experienced from all the countries I’ve visited. Would recommend.

We were looking forward to this tour and were pleasantly surprised at the natural beauty of Bastei Bridge and the beautiful buildings in Dresden. We were picked up promptly from our hotel and our enthusiastic guide Sky engaged us in the history of the region. It was like going out with a friend who showed us around. It was such a fantastic day out for everyone in the family. The day does involve a lot of walking and climbing steps at Bastei Bridge, so wear comfortable shoes. We wouldn’t have visited Dresden otherwise, so the trip was well worth it!

This is a must tour from Prague, to see Dresden and the National Park with lunch. From start to finish our guide Misu, was friendly, informative, nothing was to much trouble, fab driver, took photos for us too. An amazing day with memories.
