Downtown Chicago Walking Pizza Tour

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this Pizza tour! Our guide, James, was not only extremely knowledgeable and well-versed in Chicago lore, he was stand-up comic funny, and extremely attentive to every member of the tour. He got to know us and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Even though we ate lots of pizza, it was well designed that you didn’t feel stuffed by the time it was over. We saw four iconic Chicago pizza places and definitely had our preferences, but all were excellent and the establishments very beautiful and iconic Chicago establishments. The tour did last about 3 1/2 hours which was a little longer than we anticipated but definitely worth it. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who loves Pizza and wants to learn more about the great city of Chicago!

We went to four different pizza places and I loved them all. John was very informative and amazing. Was thinking that this would be just tasting small amount but wrong. You will not be hungry. Very good.

The last visit required a good deal of walking. The first stop delivered the best pizza I've ever eaten.

John had a vast knowledge and great relationship with the people at the places we went. He took us to 4 different pizzerias, each different styles. He checked for any food allergies and arranged the pizza orders accordingly. He knew so much about the origin of each of the restaurants and it was clear that there were more places we could have gone so we are considering doing it again!

You will not be disappointed, James had great energy, explained the history very well and had the best pizza ever.

This pizza tour was a blast. We were in a mixed group of families and singles and the guide James was hilarious and super informed and opinionated! We tried four different kinds of pizza including deep dish. The pacing was perfect— we all still had will to eat at the final stop.

James was personable and provided a mix of Chicago history along the story of Chicago pizza in its different styles.

We all loved this tour!. James was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the pizza, the restaurant owners, and the city. He was very engaging, funny and easy to talk with. This was a great way to get a sample of different types of Chicago pizza. We will definitely suggest this tour to all our friends who are visiting Chicago.

Jon was amazing and so passionate about pizza and Chicago history. He has been doing this for 16 years and it shows. It was such a good tour and I definitely got my fill of pizza for the trip. Highly recommend when you are in Chicago.

This is a cannot be missed and fun tour. The pizza was delicious and the variety was a learning experience. It was awesome to taste and learn about all the ways you can enjoy a pie.
