I cannot say enough about this experience - it was magical! The best part of our Icelandic experience. The staff was fantastic and shared their knowledge and the dogs were amazing - you can tell how much they are cared for and loved. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone wanting an adventure who also loves dog cuddles!!
The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. The family are very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The dogs are lovely and cuddly. The scenery and sleigh ride was outstanding.
It was an amazing experience! Sledding over the lake was so beautiful and calming. The dogs are amazingly strong and sweet. Of course the cuddles after the sledding were also super fun!🥰 Thank you for a great day!

It was absolutly amazing! Everybody should do this experience once in a life. Exactly at this place. They were so friendly, the dogs are so happy there! Ingó was extremly funny and we were so connected 🫶🏼. A-team!! Greetings from the germans from Stuttgart 🤩

Like other reviews, we cannot recommend this highly enough. Sæmundur & Bergþóra were lovely - explaining everything clearly, and their love for the dogs shows. The huskies themselves are delightful, so friendly and adorable! The experience across the frozen lake was awesome. A real must do in Northern Iceland.

My wife and I visited on November 24th. We strongly recommend you give this a go. It was amazing. We were picked up from our hotel in Akureyri by the awesome “Ingo” who took us to the venue. We were made to feel so welcome. Sæmundur & Bergþóra were great hosts and issued us with everything we needed. The dogs were so friendly and happy and it’s plain to see just how well they are cared for and loved by all involved. They were so excited and couldn’t wait to start pulling the sleds. Sledding across the frozen lake was simply stunning with amazing views to be had and Sæmundur gave us both a chance to stand on the back and drive ! We had lots of time to spend with the huskies after we had sled and got a great tour of the kennels etc. After we left, Ingo took us on a scenic route back to Akureyi and showed us some waterfalls, the other side of the fjord and his farm. Such a nice guy with perfect English. Even introduced us to music by Kaleo! We loved it and downloaded it. If you go to Iceland…you must book with snowdogs. One of the highlights for us. I’m a dog professional (behaviorist l/trainer) and the first thing I noticed is there were no dogs barking when we pulled up. Then when we entered the facility, again, not one dog barked when they saw us! They were 33 of the most calm, balanced and friendly dogs I’ve ever met in my life!! Sami the owner was such an informative and inspirational individual I couldn’t be happier with our experience on the trail with these guys!
I can't quite put into words how special today was . The staff and dogs are outstanding. If it's the only paid thing you do in Iceland do this. great thanks to a very kind Ragnor . We are coming back soon. x
Trip was flawless. Scenery absolutely surreal. Dogs not only friendly but also so fluffy to cuddle 🥰. 100% recommend. Family and children friendly.
