Besök Koreas viktigaste gränsområden med en professionell Guide och njut av ett stopp vid Majang Lake Suspension Bridge. [Vad är JSA?] Gemensamma säkerhetsområdet är den enda plats i Demokratiska republiken Kongo där nord- och sydkoreanska styrkor står ansikte mot ansikte. Det har varit skådeplatsen i årtionden av konfrontation, diplomati och historiska ögonblick som fortsätter att forma den Koreanska halvön. Så snart du anländer till Imjingak Peace Park, kommer du att turnera denna park med din Guide som inkluderar en biljettkassa, tur plats, toaletter och några snackbarer. Turen erbjuder intressanta monument som statyn av fred, Mangbaedan, Freedom Bridge och Jangdan Station ånglok. Du kan förstå dem djupt genom Guidens professionella kommentar. Du kommer också att besöka närmaste tillgängliga plats till JSA – Panmunjom Visitor Center, där du får en detaljerad förklaring på plats. Efter turen kliver du på bussen och beger dig till kontrollstationen.
Mangbaedan är ett minnesaltare byggt för människor som skildes från sina familjer under Koreanska. Eftersom de inte kunde återvända till sina hemstäder i Nordkorea, använde de denna webbplats för att buga mot sina förfäders hem. Det besöks fortfarande, särskilt under traditionella helgdagar, av dem som vill hedra sina familjer.
Du anländer till den tredje tunneln, den representativa infiltrationstunneln i Sydkorea. Det finns fyra invaderande tunnlar i Sydkorea, och den här är den mest populära platsen bland dem. Den är 1635 m lång och höjd och bredd är ca 2m respektive. Eftersom det ligger 73 m under jord, tar det ca 20 minuter för turister att komma nära gränsen. Skyddshjälm krävs eftersom backarna är branta och det finns många stenar runt tunneln.
Dora Observatory ligger på toppen av berget Dorasan i DMZ-området. Det är cirka fem minuter från bussparkeringen. Inne i byggnaden finns ett stort fönster och du kan titta ner på nord Koreanska territorium. Området inkluderar Kaesong Industrial Complex, några statyer av diktatorer, JSA, gränsen mellan de två Koreas, en falsk by och vaktposter. Innan du anländer till observatoriet kommer en Guide att förklara Koreanska i detalj.
Tongilchon Village är den sista platsen på DMZ Tour och den största i DMZ-området. Den skapades för internationell propaganda med statligt stöd på 1970-talet. För att skapa byn hänvisade regeringen till den israeliska staden Kibbutz. Den har för närvarande cirka 400 invånare och de flesta av dem är sysselsatta med jordbruk.
Majang Lake Suspension Bridge är en av Koreas längsta hängbroar, som sträcker sig 220 meter över sjön. Den öppnade 2017 och förbinder vandringsleder på båda sidor av sjön med utsikt över skog och vatten. Det är det sista stoppet innan du återvänder till Seoul.

We had an amazing tour with our lovely tour guide Bill Hwang! He was super sweet, gave us heaps of info and made the tour very memorable with his humour! He made sure to also add heaps of recommendations for Seoul food spots, K-dramas and K-pop and is an amazing photographer!

Bill Hwang was our guide for the tour where he gave us a sobering history lesson — knowledgeable, engaging, and somehow able to slip in Korean uncle jokes without breaking the mood. We left knowing significantly more about the DMZ and having laughed more than expected. Highly recommend, unless you're allergic to dad humour!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best DMZ Guide — Ask for Bill Hwang! Bill was hands-down the highlight of our DMZ tour. Incredibly knowledgeable about the history, attentive to every member of the group, and armed with a collection of uncle jokes that kept everyone smiling even during the heavier parts of the visit. He strikes the perfect balance between being informative and engaging — never overwhelming you with facts, but making sure you leave with a real understanding of what the DMZ represents.
