Wonderful introduction to Florida natural ecosystems and wildlife. Great afternoon activity for all ages. We saw quite a few dolphins and various bird species. The dolphins are full time residents of the Idian River ecosystem so this is not a seasonal activity. I enjoyed listening to Abby's explanations of the ecosystems and Captain Carolyn was a great driver who helped spot dolphins forbuster see.
No frills, no meal. Just great education with the boat ride! Krista & Bill were great! They were very connected to our specific group, stopping as we saw things, answering questions. A wonderful 2 hour ride. We learned so much. Recommended to friends coming in.
We had an awesome trip out on the water tonight. We saw lots of birds and dolphins. Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly. Captain George was very friendly as well and let us enjoy the dolphins and birds. This was a highlight of our trip.
Kaitlyn was awesome! She knows a lot about nature and wildlife and you can just about her anything and she knows the answer. The Captain was sweet and kind. It was a pretty relax tour. Saw a lot of dolphins, the manatees must have been hiding because I didn’t catch a glimpse!

The experience was awesome, me and my wife had a great time, but the tour ended early due to the weather getting bad.
Overall a fun experience. We saw a manatee as well as several dolphi s. Learned a little history of the area as well. Tour guide was very informative. Only 3 star because the captain of the boat wasn't paying attention to the channel markers and completely ran one over with the boat. These are fairly large markers, which could have been a major issue. Luckily no damage was done, and we finished the trip.
The Discovery Dolphin Boat tour from Marine Discovery Center was fantastic!! Captain Gary and Naturalist Lisa were both professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. The boat felt very safe and seats were comfortable. Lisa was a wealth of information and we learned a lot, not only about dolphins, but about birds in the area and things that are currently threatening the eco-system. Great price for this 2 hour experience. Recommend booking. P.S. - we didn't see any manatee, saw tons of birds and lots of dolphins! Sunset tour, July 10.
Highlight of my family's trip to Daytona Beach area! Saw tons of dolphins and manatees. Kids loved it. Guide was knowledgeable and fun.
Great time both captain and the nature guide were amazing great sense of humor, knowledgeable of what they were doing and seemed to really love and enjoy what they did. Pretty good price as well for what we got to experience and the time we had. We did see lots of dolphins and a few manatees among other things.
