Konst, historia, traditioner... men också god mat! Det ska vara ett nöje att kunna erbjuda er vårt läckra "Leccese-kaffe" på is med mandelextrakt och typiska aptitretare. Underbart exempel på ett torg ombyggt i barockstil, det öppnar sig framför oss som en flygel av en teater, till vänster sticker det underbara klocktornet från det sena 1600-talet byggt av Giuseppe Zimbalo ut över torget med sin majolikakupol; i mitten katedralen med sin fasad som kännetecknas av en balustrad som förbises av statyn av stadens beskyddare, Sant'Oronzo, och prydd med blommor, änglar och lansettlika spetsar, ett sublimt exempel på fanzaghesco-barock; Episcopio med portiken i propylaea, ett beundransvärt verk av Emanuele Manieri; till höger Palazzo del Seminario med sin rustikation och sin eklektiska barock, verk av Giuseppe Cino. arenan som går tillbaka till det första århundradet e.Kr.C. halvvägs fram i ljuset i början av förra seklet, kommer vi att beundra den imponerande arkitekturen i cavea, läktarna, de flygande strävpelarna, balteus, en juvel i hjärtat av Lecces historiska centrum.
Världsmästerverk av barockkonst, dess sublima fasad är tillägnad slaget vid Lepanto, och representerar den kristna och västeuropeiska världens ideala triumf; de överdådiga dekorationerna och de många symbolerna fascinerar ögat och lyfter andligheten än idag. (Besök utanför)
Hjärtat av staden, den antika Piazza dei Mercadanti från 700-talet, hittar fortfarande tecken från sitt förflutna kopplade till inflytandet från Sjöfartsrepubliken Venedig, med Palazzo del Sedile, säte för utställningar och stadsförsamlingar, och med den angränsande kyrkan av Sankt Markus; torget flankerar den antika romerska amfiteatern, halvt avslöjad, en pärla som ligger bland barock-, jugendpalats, rationalistiska och venetianska palats.

Lorenzo was very knowledgeable & enthusiastic with sharing his knowledge of Lecce. We enjoyed the tour immensely. Nice pace, not at all rushed & fun. We were a little late joining the tour but it was no problem. What l liked the most was it was very informative but not with loads of dates & names that you will never remember afterwards!! I would highly recommend you book this tour. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning Lorenzo ❤️ Oh and that Gelato 🍦
Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was great! He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and he shared the information with us in an entertaining manner so it was certainly never boring. I would highly recommend his tours.

This was a great way to understand the architecture and beauty of Lecce! Our guide was very pleasant and kept us in the shade as much as possible. Loved the coffee he treated us to also!
We had a wonderful tour with our guide Lorenzo. He was well informed about the architecture and history of the many churches in the area and his passion for the subject clearly came through. He was very patient and responsive to our groups many question and just a lot of fun to spend time with. I would highly recommend this tour
Lorenzo is a star. He gave insights into the Baroque, Renaissance periods of Lecce's history, architecture, culture and was always considerate to make sure we could all hear his narrative. We also had a mid morning Leecese coffee (with almond milk) and typical Lecce snacks. It was an exceptional experience.
Lorenzo is a local and knew all the cities and introduced us to the famous local pastry. Warm friend and just a passion for his city and knows the art and history.
