Dingle stad och den vackra Dingle halvön. När vi lämnar Killarney passerar vi genom byn Castlemaine där Wild Colonial Boy, en bushranger, bor i det tidiga koloniala Australien. Ta en utsikt över den världsberömda tumstranden och se Atlantens vågor som gynnas av surfare, sedan bär det av till Dingle stad för en kaffe, en promenad runt för lite shopping och sightseeing. Sedan ska vi göra en rundtur på halvön, stanna vid Aidans fårfarm och se öppningsscenen för filmen Far and Away med Tom Cruise och Nicole Kidman, sedan stannar vi där du vill, kanske Blasket Islands centrum, Louis Mulcahy-keramik, Clogher-stranden med fantastisk utsikt över den vilda Atlanten, eller kanske Gallarus Oratory, en 600-talskyrka gjord helt av sten som liknar en uppåtvänd båt. Sedan är vi tillbaka till Dingle för en titt på de lokala pubarna och lite förfriskningar. Vad du än önskar kommer jag att utforma dagen kring vad du skulle vilja göra. Anländer till Dingle town från Killarney, vi kommer att ta en kaffe, ta en promenad runt Dingle, göra lite shopping, så går vi och kör runt den världsberömda Dingle Peninsula. Vi kommer att sluta träffa Aidan, en lokal fårbonde, på vår och sommar finns det vanligtvis lamm att hålla och mata. Aidan har gamla Bee Hive hytter på landet, 2000 år gammal irländsk bosättning. Vi fortsätter att turnera runt halvön, stoppa för bilder och på några intressanta punkter. Då går vi tillbaka till Dingle för en måltid, lite mer sightseeing och kanske en öl!

Om vädret tillåter kommer vi att köra upp till The Conor Pass med fantastisk utsikt över Tralee Bay och ett bra fototillfälle.

Joe was a fantastic guide and private driver! He was a wealth of information. I asked last minute for him to take our daughter to somewhere she could have an experience with animals. He accommodated us and even took us to a pretty special place! Would go with him on any tour again!

My mom and I had a beautiful day touring Dingle! Our driver, Joe, had a wonderful full day itinerary for us which included a stop at the Torc waterfall, Inch beach, a few stops along Slea head, the lambs (per my mom’s request!) and at a lovely cafe in Dingle for some tea and delicious scones. Joe was very knowledgeable and ensured we had a great time.

So glad we chose this trip. Neither of us like driving so this was perfect. We stopped at a BEEHIVE hut and Dingle town...such amazing views! The driver Joe was so kind and helpful, He explained things and told us of history. We were behind a bus on the narrow road and a car had to back up which took a while but gave us some spectacular views!

The Dingle Peninsula was a spectacular day tour, especially with our driver Joseph Long. We saw many beautiful sites and still had time for lunch, quaint breaks & shopping!

Fantastic drive around Slea Head and the Dingle Peninsula with knowledgeable commentary on the history (modern and ancient), cultural and political contexts, and key figures related to the area. We really enjoyed our day thoroughly and while I've driven the Dingle Peninsula several times over the years, it was a refreshing experience to sit back and relish the views while someone else took the wheel. Pick up was straightforward. Communication was clear and responsive. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun with a good sense of humor. Very personable guy whose conversation made the spectacular scenery and sights of the day even more enjoyable!
