Sadarghat är ett betydande transportnav och flodhamn som ligger på stranden av Burigangafloden i Dhaka, huvudstaden i Bangladesh. 1st, we did the one day old Dhaka trip, which took us right into the bustling heart of the city, a total change from the more western Ghuslam area where we stayed. We were virtually the only westerners in this massive, chaotic market. But the locals were really engaging and friendly. Also saw the obligatory mosque, Hindu temple & Fort. It was a hectic but throughly enjoyable day. So much so that we did another tour 2 days later to Sonargaon the old capital. It was lovely to get away from the chaos of Dhaka and enjoy a little bit of tranquillity. Our guide, Amin, was a lovely guy, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour. If you get the option, ask for him. Although I'm sure the other guides are equally good :))

Great value for money with Imran on this day tour, which was absolutely brilliant. So many wonderful places to visit within Old Dhaka, and Imran went out of his way to accommodate my desire for coffee and hunting down specific souvenirs, as well!

Excellent tour if you only have one day in Dhaka. My guide was really friendly and attentive. The tour is very personal and I was given options according to what I wanted to see and experience. Initially, our plan was to tour Dhaka for two days and order via Viator. Flight schedules change. The first day was canceled because there were no flights from Kuululumpur to Dhaka on the itinarary that we had booked. We decided to make the most of 1 day, because the next tour schedule cannot be changed. Arrived at the hotel early in the morning and was picked up at 08.00 by Mr. Firoz as per info from Modhu. The tour schedule can be carried out on time including a very satisfying lunch. We visited all the main highlights including the Armenian church, Dhakeshwari temple, star mousque, old city, univercity of Dhaka and after that Lalbagh Fort. We finish the tour and back to hotel at about 04.00 pm My guide Firoz was perfect . He was very friendly and made the teip very easy for us. He kept asking if we were oke, given that was extremely very hot and humid. This a great trip for someone and limited time traying to see the main attraction in Dhaka.

I do not wish to recommend this company at all. The driver never came to the hotel as expected. The tour guide came on his own. We both waited for the driver that has never showed up the whole day. I was deep inside very upset to be solo, to pay double the amount of a tour…89 dollars, this is what we call stealing especially that I was aware of the prices in Bangladesh, a very cheap country and not be treated for what I paid for. I would like to be reimbursed half of my money. I was waiting under the heat. This company is unprofessional. At the end of the day, I felt I did not get for what I paid for. I have the right to complain. I was not happy at all!!!!!
First, we are extremely sorry for the late arrival of our car. But our guide arrived at your hotel on time and met you. This tour of our company has achieved the "Badge of Excellence" award on Viator. Is it possible to get this award for an unprofessional company? Let me explain more about the tour on that day: First, you did not read the tour details carefully. There was no option of private transportation or private vehicle in the Inclusion section. If you see it carefully, you will find out this: Local transport with driver. It means that we will use available local transportation systems for completing this tour, it includes car/taxi, tuktuk, rickshaw etc. Tell me, how did you go to Sadarghat from Kawran Bazar to Sadarghat? It was a hired car from us. Besides this, we used cng/tuktuk, rickshaw for this tour. You have got special treatment from us. We have provided extra service for you. Visiting Hatirjheel was not on our tour list. Still, you visited the place. We accepted your request and take you to Hatirjheel. Even we offered you a water taxi round-trip experience. We didn't ask for the transfer cost from Lalbagh Fort to Hatirjheel. We didn't ask for the payment of water taxi trip in Hatirjheel. You also visited Kawran Bazar. It was also not on our tour itinerary. Still, you got the opportunity of visiting the place. Thus, you have got more than the options included on the tour. We got a phone call from your hotel that you wanted to visit the Military Museum. Then we made a new tour plan to add the museum to our itinerary so that you can visit the museum. We were ready to go there. Later, you changed that. Then we changed our itinerary again. You told us to visit Hatirjheel and Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban(National Parliament). So, we changed our tour plan again and added these two places. Any of these places were not in our list of tourist attractions provided on Viator.com. Still, we added those attractions on the tour list. We tried hard to make this tour satisfactory going beyond the regular itinerary. Still, you are complaining against us. This is absolutely disappointing. You tried us to accuse of double payment. Is it possible to get double payment for a single traveler on Viator? Viator is maintaining a great tour booking system. How can we get double payment for one traveler? You have paid 89.07 CHF as a traveler. Not more than that. You didn't check the tour details. You didn't check the booking voucher. You didn't check carefully how much you paid on Viator. Rather, you tried to harass us. You threatened us with false information. You accused us falsely. In fact, we should complain against you. The museum was not on our tour list and the water taxi trip was too. You got this service extra from us. Our guide arrived at your hotel on time and met you on time. It is true that the car was not on time since the Uber-type service was late. We are extremely sorry for that. But you are not saying sorry for what you did. Even you harassed our COO with misinformation about the tour. We happily completed the tour and you were happy too. You gave us 2-star review. It is unfair.
What a great trip! Mahbub was an excellent host very knowledgeable about the history of Dhaka. Enjoyed riding the rickshaw getting a up close and personal touch to the sites and sounds of the city. This a great trip for someone with limited time trying to see the main attractions in Dhaka. A wonderful experience with lasting memories.

Interesting way to visit Dhaka. Very good information from the guide Al Amin. It was just me in the tour. The guide contacted me in advance to set up the pick up time. I assumed we were going to travel by car to the different locations, but due to Dhaka traffic we ended up taking TukTuk and rickshaws. Be ready for the adventure! The sites visited were okay. We had to cut our visit short due to heavy rainfall. This trip is not worth the USD 87 I paid for at all! My recommendation is not to accept the admission to the places. I feel it is way overpriced.
