The ride itself was enjoyable, the meal was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the overall organization could be improved. The team did not show up on time, and no one answered when I tried calling. Thankfully, they eventually contacted the other couple who were in the same situation as us. We were later told that we should have arrived earlier at 12:30, but we had actually been waiting since 12:00. My biggest concern was safety. The first crossing was done on a very small boat without life jackets. Seeing my wife, who cannot swim, on that boat was quite distressing. Overall, the cycling experience and the staff themselves were great, but the organization and safety aspects would benefit from a more professional approach.
My wife and I took the “original bike tour in the green jungle of Bangkok” and had “Sugar” as our guide. What an amazing day! Sugar is super friendly and clearly loves what he’s doing. You cannot help but be in a great mood around him. He is energetic and attentive to the tour patrons. Loved getting outside the typical Bangkok hubbub. Thoroughly enjoyed the lushness and slower pace on this suburban island. Sites we wouldn’t have seen without the tour. As this was a weekend tour, Sugar incorporated a bit of the weekend market, introducing our group to some new culinary delights. Highly recommend both Sugar and this tour.
Fun experience. Aod was a fun guide and we ate delicious local food. Would recommend
Our tour guide Tony was super friendly and showed us around the island safely and took us to the markets for lunch. A fabulous morning.
Our tour with Aod (and King) was absolutely wonderful. It was just my mother and I, so Aod was very understanding when we showed a little late and had a bright energy even though the afternoon tours are during some of the hottest hours of the day. He showed us many special local spots, great food, and introduced to us a lot of the local plants and their uses. This tour is a great way to see nature while in Bangkok. We highly recommend it!
What a lovely day we had yesterday. Full of beautiful scenery, lots of relaxation and plenty of fun too. Everything was organised perfectly throughout. The pickup was exactly as described and everything flowed really well. We didn't feel rushed and had plenty of time to see everything. It was planned really well with lots of opportunities to snack, rest, take photos. A beautiful and friendly vibe throughout with knowledgeable guides who spoke English well and had plenty of local knowledge of animals, flora & fauna and history. I highly recommend you take this trip. We enjoyed it a great deal and managed to see and explore a part of Bangkok that we had never even heard of before, even after visiting the city many times. Many thanks.
A different way to see Bangkok - the cycle tour was fun and interesting, even though it was raining when we took our tour. Sugar (our guide) was very helpful, from providing rain macs for the rain, to taking us for lovely mango sticky rice and chicken noodle soup - and even to providing first aid when I unfortunately lost my balance and fell into barbed wires.
This was a good was to see a different side of Bangkok. Our guide Sugar was very knowledgable and took us to some interesting places for sights and food (mango sticky rice, chicken/pork noodles). He kept time very well and we were back at the port before the expected end time of the tour.
We were the only couple that morning. So a private tour. Aod from Bamboo tours has given us a fun and interesting morning. Nice places where we got snacks and lunch.
Extremely kind, friendly and informative tour! More like a bike and food tour which was a nice suprise. Our guides took us to only local and authentic Thai food spots which we loved! The scenery was peaceful, shady and beautiful! Thank you once again.
