Den ultimata 11-dagars Island Tour, Paros, Naxos, Mykonos, Santorini

We just returned from a 11 day Greece tour covering - Athens, Mainland Greece(Mykines, Epidaurus, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora) & Santorini. The entire tour including hotels, transfers, site visits & guides were managed by Private Tours Greece and for sure it was a seamless, memorable experience for our family. Firstly, i want to thank Dimitra for working with us over emails + calls to work out a private tour itinerary covering major archeological sites and places of mythological interest. She was very responsive and patient in accommodating modifications. Thanks and Kudos to Patty our tour coordinator who was super responsive and always communicating with us in WhatsApp. All the hotels were comfortable, as promised and had extra beds to accommodate the 3 of us. In fact few days before the trip one of the hotels had to be changed in Athens and Patty was very gracious in arranging a complimentary dinner for us in Athens due to the inconvenience. We spent the first couple of days in Athens and went to the Acropolis of Athens + Museum on the first day. Our guide Eftychia was right on time at the hotel and told us some amazing stories and history of the sites including the museum. Thanks to Spiros for the transfers. We were late and could not go to Mount Lycabettus due to traffic blocks but Patty ensured that we were able to cover it on the last day of our mainland tour. Highlight of our entire tour was the Mainland trip and here i have to thank Aggelos(Friend/Guide & Driver) for making it memorable. He is knowledgeable about mythology, archeological sites etc. and he ensured us that we had a great experience for 4 days covering major parts of Mainland Greece( Mykines, Epidaurus, Olympia, Delphi, Meteora). Aggelos was very accommodating and had good knowledge of local culture & had connections in all places. He had good suggestions for places to eat especially since we were vegetarians. The Mercedes Mini Van was very comfortable and given the shoulder season we were able to enjoy all the sites with wonderful local guides without a lot of crowd. I would suggest everyone to use local guides in the sites as there is lot of history & information which they share and it is also a way for travelers to give back to the community. We ended our trip with a couple of days in Santorini. We stayed in Thira and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. We would highly recommend Private Tours Greece if you want to visit Greece and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

We would highly recommend anyone considering traveling to Greece to book a tour through Private Tours Greece. We opted to do a self guided tour, having all of our accomodation , travel and transfers taken care of made it a stress free experience for us as first time travellers to Greece . The hotels at each our destinations were top class.The drivers and guides at each of our were very professional and helpful ,namely the two George’s in Athens and Patty in the booking office. Thank you for following up on our 15 days Classical Tour of Greece. It was a truly memorable and unique experience,and we enjoyed it greatly. We visited all of the locations in the itinerary as described,and we were very fortunate to have good weather for the large majority of our trip. All of the archeological sires were fascinating and simply remarkable. Our driver, Mr Dimitris was excellent,and we really appreciated his punctuality,friendly nature and deep knowledge of the country culture.
