Vi börjar vår resa i Tasciaca, daterad runt år 0. Denna romerska gallostad var känd för sina lerkrukor och behållare. 2000 år gjorde och sålde redan vin. Din guide kommer att berätta historien om Tasciaca, på plats
Denna plats är där kalkstensblocken utvanns och användes för att bygga katedraler och slott över hela Loiredalen.
I Montrichard kommer du att se hur en medeltida stad skulle se ut. Din guide kommer att berätta olika passionerade historier om betydelsen av dessa platser. Du kommer att lära dig skillnaden mellan ett medeltida och ett renässansslott.
Efter vår cykeltur längs floden och genom skogen kommer vi fram till ett fantastiskt renässansslott. Njut av en utsökt picknicklunch med den bästa lokala maten från Cher Valley precis framför denna imponerande syn! skulle du drömma om en bättre utsikt? Du kommer att kunna gå längs floden för att beundra Chenonceau och dess graciösa valv.

Clement Rubio, our expert guide was fantastic. He planned a wonderful 20 mile trip for us, a peaceful & special spot for our yummy picnic in the shadow of Chateau Chenonceau. I am a 68 yr old woman, a little skittish about biking but found the bike easy to maneuver. I never could’ve done it on a regular bike! So I highly recommend this tour with Clement, our new friend!

Our e-bike tour with Clement was the highlight of our week in Amboise! What better way to get to experience the Loire Valley then riding along the beautiful Cher River enjoying the beautiful, peaceful landscape?! We stopped by an ancient cave home along the way. So interesting! And the highlight of the ride is the delicious picnic lunch Clement prepared for us with Chenonceaux as our backdrop! Pure perfection!! Local cheese, pork spread, wine and of course bread! We enjoyed listening to Clement’s explanation of the history of the region as well as engaging with the other guests on the tour. I highly recommend this tour!
We had a great day with Clemon, the tour was unique including history of the area and the Chateau with a visit to his friends home showing off the caves people lived in until just after WW2. The picnic was local produce and delicious. It was not rushed and he was very generous with his time. Clemon is very personable and helpful we highly recommend this tour.

This tour with Clement has been one of the highlights of our two week trip to France! It was so much more than a bike tour. From the moment my sister and I met Clement, we were immersed in the culture and history of the Loire Valley. It was so interesting to learn about one of the oldest inhabited places including the way people lived over the years, from palaces to troglodytes. The bike ride was lovely and lunch, with the chateau as a backdrop, has been one of my favorite meals in France. The AOP selection of wines and cheeses from the region were absolutely delicious. If you are in the Loire Valley, make sure to add this tour to your itinerary! It won’t disappoint!
Wonderful day experienced with captivating guide Clement. Learned a lot about history. Stop at Jean Pierre with private museum/legacy house in the rocks. Very tasty lunch with local products. Absolutely recommended.
