Den extremt rika excentriska Betty Browns anda strövar för alltid omkring i Ashton Villas eleganta salar. Många har sett Betty bära en turkos klänning och bära en solfjäder under påkostade evenemang som hålls på herrgården. Inte ens döden kan hålla Betty från att vara festens liv... och skrämma gästerna halvt ihjäl.
En av över 200 historiska markörer på ön, detta är den tidigare bostaden för Olga Samaroff som är känd för att fortfarande hemsöka hemmet än idag.

Bara en person gillade att bo på Normandie Inn och det var mannen som förde satanismen till ön. En vecka efter bygget kastade sig en ung pojke ut genom fönstret... OCH ÖVERLEVDE. På frågan varför han gjorde något sådant svarade han: ”Något ont skulle döda mig”. Nu har Normandie Inn blivit en pilgrimsplats för dem som utövar voodoo, svart magi, satanism och häxkonst. Många offerritualer har ägt rum här inklusive... EN MÄNNISKA! Än idag används den som en portal i helvetet.
Många gäster på detta hotell har berättat historier om en ensam dam som vandrar i korridorerna, vissa till och med har fullständiga samtal med henne. Men på morgonen, att inse att hon aldrig existerade alls!

A walk around a couple of blocks with stories about houses where you don’t even go in…could have been any random house…it was scary boring. Some history of galvestone…not interesting at all for our family

The whole experience sucked. The guide was terrible, this was just a history lesson. Nothing about this was scary! I wouldn’t waist the money.
