Demre St Nicholas, Myra, Kekova Sunken City Boat Tour

En av de heligaste kyrkorna för kristna, Santa Claus-kyrkan, är där vi börjar vår resa. efter att ge våra besökare lite ledig tid att köpa efter vår rundtur i den lokala ikonbutiken, reser vi till den historiska staden Myra. Sedan kommer vi till vår båt som väntar på oss vid ayaz hamn. Vi stannar för vårt första dopp i Gökkaya Bay efter en kort resa och äter sedan vår fullpackade måltid. Efter lunch stannar vi vid Aquarium Bay för ett dopp och besöker Tersane Bay, en av Kekova Islands historiska vikar. Vi lägger till vår båt vid Simena slott (Kale Köy) ser den nedsänkta staden och ger våra besökare en timmes ledig tid här. Du kan promenera till sarkofagen (klipp)gravarna på land eller i vattnet, besöka bosättningen och besöka det gamla Simena-slottet på din fritid. Glöm inte att prova lokalbefolkningens världsberömda hemgjorda glass. Efter detta stopp vid Simena slott tar vi vår sista simpaus på 30 minuter i Üçazsundet innan vi avslutar vår tur.

vi reser ett kort avstånd för att turnera i ruinerna, amfiteatern och berömda gravar i den antika staden Myra, den tidigare huvudstaden i den mäktiga lykiska federationen - mycket beundrad av grekerna som den första kända "demokratiska unionen!"
S: t Nicholas-basilikan, i närliggande Demre, hemstaden "Father Christmas!" Kyrkan är mycket värd i den ortodoxa kristendomen och många ikoner finns i lokala butiker.
Kekova Bay är Medelhavets ''dolda pärla'' och en båttur till den isolerade ön Kekova kommer att visa resterna av den gamla sjunkna staden, som kollapsade i vattnet efter en jordbävning på 200-talet e.Kr.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the boat trip and visit to Myra was exceptional. However the itinerary mentioned here does not match my experience, there was no visit to Simena Castle and only one swim stop not two as described above. My tour date was also cancelled and rebooked for the following day at the last minute due to ‘weather’, however when I did the tour the following day I was informed by our guide and also the boat crew that they indeed went ahead the previous day, and the weather was not bad (rained for a total of 5min in the late afternoon). I asked the your operator regarding this discrepancy but did not receive a good response. The pick up/drop off process via all hotels also took over 2 hours each way (4hrs + travel time to and from the start of the tour) therefore making this an extremely long day in a mini bus.

The tour did not operate the day that we cancelled your booking as told earlier. The boats work with a variety of companies and they meant that they went ahead with another company. We do not risk neither the joy and nor the safety of our passengers, so we did not operate the tour that day. Trip interesting would have been better if we hadn’t been the only English couple out of the twelve only Russia spoken. The guide did her best to explain to us in English after each place which did help and full marks to her for that. It’s no fun not understanding what’s going on when those that do have no sense of compassion or manners when it comes to breakfast or lunch no concept of queues
