Bege dig till den historiska platsen Pnyx för en interaktiv session med dialoger och rollspel. Bli medborgare i det klassiska Aten, rösta och tala i en stadsfråga, genom en resa 2500 år tillbaka i tiden. Upplev den uråldriga demokratin på den inspirerade plats som var värd för de atenska offentliga församlingarna, med direkt utsikt över Akropolis, bredvid de snidade stegen på talarens plattform. Under ledning av en facilitator med bakgrund i klassiska studier, är denna workshop en introduktion till atensk demokrati, lämplig för alla över 10 år. -Lär dig om Aten vid ett landmärke för demokratisk historia -Interaktiv workshop utforskar demokratins verkliga historia -Sätt dig själv i en röstande atenares skor -Se den historiska platsen som var värd atenska offentliga församlingar -Använd unika kopior av antika grekiska föremål.

- Denna workshop är en utomhusupplevelse därför kräver det bra väder. Om det ställs in på grund av dåligt väder kommer du att meddelas minst 3 timmar i förväg och kommer att erbjudas möjligheten att välja mellan ett annat datum, en liknande workshop eller full återbetalning.
- Språket är vanlig engelska. Det kommer inte att finnas några svåra ord eller terminologi.
- Det finns inga toaletter eller matsalar på kullen - du kan hitta en nära mötesplatsen.
- Eftersom denna workshop äger rum på en historisk plats med kulturarv och kulturella aspekter, måste alla deltagare respektera etiska, lagar och respektfulla uppförande etiketter (nykterhet, renhet, foto / video skytte, klädkod, höghet etc) och vara respektfull och artig under hela sessionen. Vår facilitator har rätt att säga upp ditt deltagande utan återbetalning om ditt beteende är respektlöst när det gäller platsen eller folket.
- Lämplig för vuxna och tonåringar över 10 år. Minderåriga deltagare KAN INTE boka ensamma, minst en vuxen bör boka också, som också ansvarar för att övervaka dem.
- Att delta i den här workshopen i det offentliga rummet innebär att du samtycker till foto-/videoinspelningar som kan ske under denna tjänst, inklusive framtida publicering av detta material av oss eller de andra deltagarna. Du kan när som helst återkalla ditt samtycke (före eller efter workshopen) genom att kontakta oss skriftligen. Vi ska inte hållas ansvariga för bilder och videor på dig, tagna av andra under våra tjänster och för användningen av sådant foto- och videomaterial av dessa tredje parter.
- Handledare/instruktörer är utbildade och certifierade i första hjälpen, men enligt lag får de inte ge någon medicin, så vänligen ha din medicin med dig (särskilt för allergier, eftersom du kommer att vara utomhus).
- Det kommer att bli en 300 m uppförsbacke för att vi ska komma fram till Pnyx-högtalarens plattform, vilket kan vara fysiskt krävande. Se till att du bär bekväma skor och kläder som är lämpliga för att tillåta fullt deltagande.

My family very much enjoyed the "Democracy" experience. Really set the stage for our exploration of Athens & environs. The role playing and activities were exceptionally good. Brought the ruins to life; then and now. Highly recommend!

Great fun being Athenians on Pnyx Hill! Eleneora was really lovely and engaged our Ancient Greeks enthusiastic child really well! We were lucky to be the only ones in the workshop and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend and really want to come back to do the philosophy workshop one day!

I was very pleased to have organized and participated in an engaging and highly experiential workshop on ancient Athenian democracy and its lesson for today. Facilitated by the enthusiastic Renia and Alexi, I watched as the group of university students that I had brought from Toronto, Canada, who did not have a background in philosophy, classics nor political science, become willing to actively listen and participate in the workshop was illuminating. I appreciated the clarity of the instructional materials and case study scenarios and the opportunity to perform historically signifiant roles, thereby giving students insights into Athenian social organization and political and civic life. The various activities, including one in which involved testing students and staging a competition on their knowledge acquisition of the various monuments and relics at Pynx Hill was enthralling. Hellas Revival was a pleasure to work with administratively as well. Highly recommended.

We did the Democracy program in Pnyka and had a fantastic time!!!! The organization was perfect and the people wonderful!!! We played and learned through games information that we had never heard before and we all had so much fun, adults and children!!! The most interesting and fun thing you can do in Athens!!! Amazing experience, we all loved it! It is a fun and educational activity and I highly recommend it for families with teenagers as ours. My son proved himself a great orator, while my daughter surprised us with her solid arguments. It was definitely the best couple of hours that we spent together as a family in Athens.

Unique and authentic experience, we got substantial information on how politics evolved until the birth of democracy 2500 years ago, and then we acted as citizens, spoke and took decisions and voted on ostrakons! Olga was an amazing instructor she makes it look as if we knew many things already. The place is also wonderful, it is the real location where the ancient people gathered to vote, right opposite the Acropolis with great view.

Cannot recommend it enough! Beautiful location with Acropolis view, very close to Acropolis. The tour was amazing! Best thing my family did in Athens (3 teen girls) ! Learned a lot about the history, but most important in a fun way, we spoke, we voted, we took roles. My teens did not allow me to show the action pictures, but well I hope I gave an idea. The price is for 5 persons.
