pickup was nearly thirty minutes late. we were not told that the bus would include a large group from cancun, which is fine but this booking made it seem like it’d only include folks from tulum. what we strongly disliked was all the additional fees throughout the trip. it would’ve been nice to have known this at the time of booking, because otherwise we wouldn’t have booked this. our guide, Jimmy, kept trying to sell us on a “diamond” package where he claimed it included all drinks. he tried to deny us from taking our own water into the first park, but it turns out you can bring reusable bottles not disposable ones. additionally, it was so hot and we spent way too much time talking about history that was not relevant to the tulum ruins. it felt like a huge waste of time. the coba ruins were fine but you could skip. also, the diamond package includes a tricycle ride through the ruins but it was $5/person if you don’t buy that package. we did not have lunch until 4pm. this was absolutely brutal because it was 90-100 degrees and this was absolutely miserable for everyone. if you don’t get the diamond package, you don’t get water. this was not right. the cenote was fine, but you have to pay for life jackets even if you get the diamond package. all of the additional fees on the trip and the complete and utter lack of respect for time made this excursion awful. i’ve booked so many times on viator and never experienced such a disaster. we also got home an hour later than promised.
For anyone reading, the transportation was 10 minutes late due to traffic. All true travelers are aware of unexpected issues like this This tour was advertised as shared All things that are not included in the tour are clearly advertised at the online page and instructed at your voucher from purchase The guide only offer the drinks at the bus once Nobody "tried to denie" your water bottle, they are not allowed due to Federal Laws All the information given during the tour is related to Mayan Culture, the ruins of Tulum and Coba. Claiming that it's not related just because you didn't care for it is a nuance There is no reason to skip Coba, why would you even say that? We advice that next time you book an adrenaline tour to keep your mind busy from unreasonable thoughts Tours about ruins should be booked for people interested in the culture. people should book tours that they are interested into The lunch was at 1:00 pm, exaggerating times does not make them true. The tour does not say anywhere that it includes water, complaining about not having something that wasn't included from the beggining doesn't make sense The tour is clear about not including life vests, again, you complain about things that weren't included from the beggining For anyone reading, this customers is complaining about the: Live vest (3 USD per person) Optional upgrade for unlimited drinks at the bus plus the Trycicle ride (10 USD per person) This traveler complains about 13 USD, which 10 of it were optional and the other 3 were already informed about before and after purchase
The tour is very cool, you have just enough time to get to know each place they take you to and take many incredible photos. Good attention from the guide and tells you the history of each place.

Very cool experience with ruins and cenote. Unfortunately some parties that joined the trip were late almost every time we had to leave with the bus so we had to stress a bit at the last stop to have time to see everything before it closed. Other than that it was great.

It was a great tour of two ruins and a cenote and lunch! Can’t beat that! All the tour guides were nice and attentive. The bus was comfy and air conditioned so in between you can relax and the whole trip wasn’t too tiring either.
