Följ med på vår rundtur i liten grupp i Delfi höjdpunkter och utforska en av världens mest kända arkeologiska platser. Plocka upp och lämna från ditt hotell eller lägenhet kommer att vara mycket lätt för dig eftersom det ingår i vår service. Du kommer att njuta av körningen genom centrala Grekland umgås med resten av deltagarna eftersom det kommer att vara max 15 personer i denna grupp. Du kommer att undvika alla långa linjer som små gruppturer rör sig snabbt utan midja tid. När du kommer in på den arkeologiska platsen, följ din officiella Guide för att höra allt om historia, mytologi och även moderna fakta om "världens navel". Små gruppturer garanterar flexibilitet, personlig service och inga långa köer.

Hämta från ditt hotell tidigt på morgonen och träffa resten av kunderna på den lilla gruppturen. Kör genom den bördiga slätten Beotia, korsa städerna Thebe - kopplat till tragedin med kung Oidipus och staden Levadia och njut av en rastplats. Du kommer till den antika arkeologiska platsen i Delphi - känd i antiken som världens navel - "Omphalos", vars prestige sträckte sig långt utanför den hellenska världens gränser. Du kommer att träffa din officiella guide och börja din turné. Passera Castalia-källan, besök den arkeologiska platsen och se monumentet av Argive Kings, atenarnas skattkammare, den atenska Stoa, den polygonala muren, monumentet Platea och Apollontemplet som är känt för sitt orakel
Du kommer att besöka Delphi-museet, med spektakulära utställningar, inklusive frisen från Sifnians skattkammare, Naxian Sphinx, Statyn av Antinoos, den berömda bronsvagnen och många andra artefakter.
Kort stopp vid "The Tholos of Delphi är bland de gamla strukturerna i helgedomen Athena Pronaia i Delfi. Det cirkulära templet, en "tholos", delar den omedelbara platsen med andra antika grunder av Athena Pronaias tempel, alla belägna mindre än en mil öster om huvudruinerna i Delphi "Tholos" är en del av Delphis världsarv.
Efter att ha avslutat din guidade tur kommer du att flyttas till den moderna byn Delphi för lunch (egna utgifter), och ledig tid för en promenad runt gränderna
Lämnar du Delfi bakom dig kommer du att återvända till Aten via den pittoreska bergs traditionella byn Arachova (kort stopp för 20'), byggd på södersluttningarna av Parnassus. Denna tur återvänder till Aten på sen eftermiddag och släpper av dig vid ditt hotell.

Upphämtningsplatser och tider
Upphämtning och avlämning ingår från hotell och lägenheter inom området för centrala Aten. Din platsinformation krävs under bokningsprocessen (hotellets namn eller lägenhetens fullständiga adress) Om ditt hotell/lägenhet inte är tillgängligt med den typ av fordon vi använder (t.ex. trånghet på gatan, fotgängarområde) kommer vi att utse en närliggande mötesplats för att hämta dig. Om din platsinformation inte har lämnats 48 timmar före avgång kommer vi att tilldela en centralt belägen mötesplats som vi väljer för att hämta dig. Du kommer att få ett mejl från oss med den exakta hämtningstiden 24 timmar före avgång. Inga ändringar kan göras i hämtningsplanen när den väl har tilldelats och slutförts. Upphämtning från hamnar/flygplatser erbjuds endast till alternativet Privat tur. Observera att upphämtningen börjar 40-50 minuter före avgång.

Small group tour booked via get your guide - 16 people max. They sent us a message the day before with our meeting point which was about a 3 minutes walk from our current hotel. We went in a Sprinter van, comfortable very clean van (no food or drink allowed) USB outlets at each seat. Our tour only had 9 people booked so it was very spacious. 2-3 hour drive. On the way there, we stoped around 90 minutes before you get to Delphi for snack and water break (about 20 minutes). There was a drive and a guide giving you historical /mythological stories intermittently as you ride Need cash for museum and site entry - 20 euros for adults, kids under 18 free (can pay with card). They dropped us and left us with the Delphi guide and this guide took us on a tour through the museum first and then to the site. The outside tour felt slightly rushed but it was about 90 minutes with the guide total and then about an hour on our own. We may be biased but after two FULL days of walking in Athens we were totally fine with that much time 😂 lots of steep walking/steps as it’s built into the mountainside. Headed to Delphi village for lunch at Vakhos taverna. They had pre booked an outdoor table with amazing views. Food was good with large portions! Left back to Athens around 3pm.
Great tour guide and driver. The bus was comfortable and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. The restaurant was delicious.
If you go into this imagining a school field trip experience, you won't be disappointed. The tour starts as a minibus of 15 people, joins with another group of 15 at the museum and site, spends more time waiting and talking in the museum than at the site, then back to the minibus for an "optional" lunch with the whole minibus group eating together (at your own expense). Meaning, the whole day is at the slowest person's pace, giving you less time than you want. Overall, the tour operators do their best to make this work and they are super friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding, but, like any group project, the best of the experience is in the hands of the worst participants. (In hindsight for my own experience, booking a private tour would have been worth the higher price.)

Lots of time in the van but a great tour at Delphi. Tour guide was excellent. The museum at Delphi was great. There was a fair amount of uphill walking at the site

Theo Tragadis’ private tour for us to see Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon was absolutely great. We have been fortunate to go on quite a few private tours, but our trip with Theo was among the very best guides that we have come across. His dinner recommendation to go to the Four Brothers after we visited the temple at sunset made the experience all the better. We would not have known about that exceptional family multi generational restaurant without his very insightful recommendation. (It was also one of the best meals that we had during our trip to Greece this time.) Thank you very much!

Danae, the guide in the van, was kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. Georgia, the guide at the site, was incredibly informative and patient. The food during lunch was excellent, and the setting was beautiful. We could not have enjoyed this trip more.
The bus and tour was perfect. Good guide telling interesting story’s about the gods on the way to Delphi! The museum walk wass great but we had just 40 minutes to see the sight so we had to run up to see everything. If there was only 15 minutes more time it would be great. I think traffic and waiting on people that were not paying attention was the reason because they were slow and went to the museum without us so we had to look for them, precious time wasted. I loved the museum but wish we had more time at the temples. Everything was perfect also lunch after wass soooo delicious!! Also small stop at arachova but it wass raining
