Vår resa börjar från Aten. På denna fantastiska heldagstur kommer du att se de vackraste sevärdheterna och landskapet. På vår väg kommer jag att ge dig mycket information om historia, mytologi och kultur. Vi kommer att njuta av ett besök i Delphi, världens roman och de religiösa platserna i Meteora. Vi kommer också att passera Thermopylae, där de 300 spartanerna slogs och den hisnande Arachova. Jag kan anpassa schemat, varaktigheten och aktiviteterna för att möta dina behov. Vår resa börjar från Aten och sedan kör vi till Thermopylae, där vi kommer att besöka Thermopylaes innovativa centrum för historisk information och vi kommer att se statyn av Leonidas.
Efteråt kommer vi att köra till den fantastiska Meteora, där vi kommer att besöka många kloster, byggda på toppen av 1000 fotstenar, såsom Varlaams Heliga Kloster, Rousanou och Heliga Treenigheten. Då tar vi en paus för en kaffe på Kalabaka. Kör genom de vackra stenbyarna Arachova där vi kan stoppa så att du kan ta bilder och köpa souvenirer.
Efter en underbar scenisk körning genom bergen och bördiga dalar når vi Delphi, som ligger under 3000ft höga berget Parnassos. Där kommer vi att besöka det arkeologiska museet i Delphi, vi kommer att se den arkeologiska platsen i Delphi och platsen för Apollo-templet.
Vid det stoppet kommer vi att se en fantastisk luxurius by som byggdes på kanten av berget, fantastisk utsikt, god tid för avkoppling och ta en kaffe eller souvenirer.
Distomo en dramatisk by 1944 350 människor förlorade sina liv, det var ett nazistkrigsbrott som begicks av medlemmar av Waffen-SS i byn Distomo, Grekland, 1944 under den tyska ockupationen av Grekland under andra världskriget.
I detta extra lokala område...!!! I slutet av turen kommer alla resenärer att njuta av en mycket vacker grekisk TAVERNA grekisk mat som grillmat,sallader,efterrätter,vin,öl,mjuka dinkar. All denna mat betalas från vår copmany, all inclusive måltid i slutändan för alla.

För 9-20 passagerare kommer turen att förses med en Mercedes Benz Sprinter. a) Vi kan plocka upp kunder varifrån de vill inne i regionen Aten, airbnb, hotell, tunnelbanestationer, busstationer, apartments.We behöver bara efter bokningen en kort kommunikation för att komma överens om upphämtningsplats. b) Upphämtningsplats kan också vara från kryssningsterminalen eller Ath Int Airport.Please ge oss så snart som möjligt detaljer som Namn på fartyget / flygbolaget, ankomsttid och antal flight.Please också ge oss alla andra detaljer du behöver om din pick up. c) Om det är en strejk i centrum eller en speciell händelse som påverkar turen, kan turen ändra starttid eller RESVÄG enligt operatörens instruktioner och kundens samtycke d) Vänligen ange så mycket som möjligt kontaktuppgifter till operatören även efter bokningen e) Vänligen meddela operatören om det finns hälsorestriktioner f) Om bokningen kommer att börja från Ath Int Airport tiden för turen börjar räknas från upphämtning av kunden, så stressa inte dig själv i händelse av förseningar av flyg g) Om turen kombineras med en transfer kan det maximala bagaget (amerikansk storlek 32kl) inte vara mer än 3 och starttiden för turen börjar vid tidpunkten för den första upphämtningen, t.ex.:( Det finns en kund som köper en tur som börjar från kryssningsterminalen men först vill han / hon bli förflyttad till sitt hotell för att göra incheckningen och sedan för att starta turen.) om kunden vill ha extra tjänster än de som betalade för, kommer operatören att debitera honom extra och betalningen kommer att göras till föraren kontant eller kreditkort.

This was exactly the 1-day trip outside of Athens we had hoped for. Make no mistake. Delphi and Meteora are not near Athens, but these incredible sights are worth the long day in the car (~8h round trip + ~3.5h sight seeing). What made it all the better was the incredible service. Our driver and tour guide Paddy was THE BEST. He knew where to go, when to be there, what pit stops would be most convenient, and always had cold drinks and snacks ready. We could not have wished for a better trip. Note that depending on season, weather, traffic, etc. you may need to be flexible. But you will be in good hands. Make sure to tip your driver generously. We did the Thermopylae, Meteora and Delphi Private Full Day Tour with our guide Ozzy and had an absolutely wonderful time! Ozzy is such an amazing source of knowledge, and explains things so well that we were all (12yr old to 49 yr old) mesmerised for the whole day. We started early, and my plan was to have a nap in the car in the morning, but as soon as Ozzy started talking I was hooked and wide awake. He managed to avoid some rain clouds by rearranging the order of the sites so that by the time we got to them we had clear blue skies and plenty of time to walk around them. We as a family of 4 had one of the best experiences on our holiday by having Ozzy take us around, and we cannot recommend it more! So many amazing memories, and we learned so much too! Wonderful experience seeing these 2 UNESCO world heritage sites. A must see when in Athens. Our tour guide and driver. Giorgio was very informative. We got picked up on time in a Mercedes sedan. The ride was long but very comfortable and safe.

This day was magical. Dimos became our friend throughout the day. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The locations were so cool. Particularly, Meteora. We have already recommended that location to friends. The car was clean and comfortable. This was a once in a lifetime tour!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Delphi and Meteora Private Day Trip from Athens with Theodores Travel! Our guide for the day was a wonderful gentleman named Patty, and he truly went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. My husband is 85 years old with mobility issues, and I am also disabled. Traveling to historic sites can sometimes be daunting, but Patty made everything incredibly accessible and comfortable for us. Thanks to his attentiveness and care, we were able to fully enjoy and experience these special places without any stress. Not only was he accommodating, but he was also an exceptional guide. What an amazing day! Our private driver (Nikos) picked us up at our hotel right on time. He drove us to Metora, explaining things along the way. Once in Meteora he took us to a number of the monasteries and allowed us as much time as we wanted at each. He also stopped at a number of incredible photo spots. We continued on to Delphi and, again, Nikos allowed us as much time as we wanted. The drive through the mountains was stunning (if you are inclined to be carsick on winding mountain roads, be warned!). Dinner at their private restaurant was very good! On our way back to the hotel, Nikos gave us additional bonus tips for our next day of exploring Athens on our own. I would recommend this to everyone - it was amazing!
