Adam was a superb local tour guide! Super knowledgeable and he catered the tour to include our interests. Highly recommend!
My sister's and I went on this tour on June 28, 2026. We had Darian as a tour guide, she was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and she was a great story teller. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and we will definitely request her when we book another tour. Thanks for a great evening Darian, from the 3 sisters celebrating their 60's!
Fantastic experience. Adam (guide) is a wealth of knowledge and customizes each tour to what type of history and haunting the crowd wants to learn about. Truly an amazing orator who will keep you hooked the entire 90 mins. Best walking tour in town!

Adam was an outstanding ghost tour guide in Charleston! His storytelling brought the city’s history and legends to life, and his enthusiasm, humor, and knowledge made the entire experience unforgettable.
I went into this expecting a traditional walking ghost tour, so I grabbed a coffee beforehand and was ready to rack up 5,000 or more steps exploring Charleston. Instead, it turned out to be something completely different, and honestly, something pretty special. Our guide, whose name I wish I could remember, was one of the best storytellers I've ever listened to. He reminded me of Forrest Gump in the best possible way. He could tell story after story and completely pull you into the moment. He had a real gift for all things spooky and made sure everyone in the group was engaged and able to hear every detail. My only disappointment was that we barely covered any ground. I actually had to leave about 10 minutes early because of an emergency, so it's possible the group walked farther after we left. That said, we were already approaching the hour and a half mark, so I assumed the tour was pretty much over. At that point I couldn't help but laugh because I realized I could have almost thrown a rock from where we started to where we finished. It wasn't even a full block away. I had expected more of a walking tour where we explored different parts of the city. To be fair, they do list the three stops in the itinerary, so that's on me for assuming there would be more walking. Even so, I'm still leaving five stars because the storytelling was that good. If you're looking for a true storytelling experience with an incredible guide, you'll have a great time. Just know this is much more about standing, listening, and getting lost in the stories than it is about walking around Charleston.
Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words and wonderful review! You are absolutely right that your tour only covered a short distance (right at 2 blocks), but there is a good reason for that. First, all of our tours are based on our guests' requests, which meant that particular stroll only took us 2 blocks since it was based on the hauntings requested. Some tours are shorter in distance, while some are way longer. Also, the heat & humidity during Charleston summers can have adverse effects on guests, so sometimes less is more when it comes to distance.
