Vi hämtar våra resenärer på deras hotell och kör sedan till Dazu County. Njut av en cirka 2 timmars resa genom Chongqings landsbygd och sedan till Baoding-platsen, den största delen av Dazu Carvings. Hällristningar från Dazu är en massiv gammal Buddhsim-stenristning som byggdes i Song-dynastin, 800 år gammal. Över 10 000 statyer ristades på en vertikal klippa, vilket i stort sett representerar kinesisk antik religiös konststil och snidningsskicklighet. Samtidigt fungerar det också som ett buddhistiskt institut och en helig plats som ger böner och förlossning till alla buddister. 1999 skrevs Dazu hällristningar in på världsarvslistan av UNESCO. De flesta turister kommer inte att vara här för det är så isolerat. Bra saker är det som gör Beishan till en lugn och tyst plats omgiven av plantager och fåglar. Reser kan ta en avslappnad promenad bland alla dessa fantastiska gamla carvings och njut av alla dessa konstsporter och frisk luft. För de kulturhistoriska eleverna skulle det vara hela världen.

Must do in Chongqing! Legend contacted me shortly after booking with contact info and pick up instructions. He was very puntual. Car was perfect and 2hr drive went by very fast. Legend shared A LOT of information not only about Dazu but also China, which was fascinating for us. We’re not English native speakers, so his perfect American accent made it so easy for us to understand. Lunch was AMAZING! Delicious hot pot. And both sites visited were truly wonderful. Would do it again and recommend it!
Enjoyed our tour very much! Legend is very knowledgeable and keen on sharing all about the history of the Dazu rock carvings. The lunch spot was great, with locally sourced ingredients, and since we weren't really into the hot pot meat, we had tofu instead - equally tasty! We plan on visiting China again and will definitely be booking a tour with Legends once more!
Excellent excursion and guide. The explanation and details provided by the guide enriched the visit of cultural value. The sculptures carved in stones are very interesting and are preserved despite the time. The guide included a delicious and healthy traditional meal with a local family. I highly recommend the excursion.

Legend has a very deep knowledge and made our trip very enjoyable. He speaks English fluently. It was also very nice to try the local fresh cuisine for lunch. He also made us very comfortable throughout the trip. Highly recommended!
We were lucky to have Legend as our driver-guide again for this tour. Dazu has magnificent carvings, which we appreciated all the more because of Legend’s deep knowledge of Buddhism and local history. Lunch was again very tasty - this time it was a local fish hotpot. Definitely would recommend.
Legend was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic experience of the Dazu Rock Carvings. He took us through a secret path to avoid queues and tourist traps. The car we were driven in was quite comfortable. As for the lunch, we went to a small family owned place and tried hot pot for the first time.
Legend is a great tour guide who drove us safely to Dazu to see the rock carvings at Baoding and Beishan. He kindly explained to us the history and meaning for the shrines. For lunch, we ate suen cai yu (酸菜鱼) at a local restaurant. It was really filling and delicious 🤤 You can count on Legend for a great day! 👍
Requires climbing. The carvings itself are phenomenal. Steeped in history, now a World Heritage site. Our tour guide, Legend Kung was forthcoming and helpful. I am a deaf man. Legend Kung typed painstakingly for me.
Very good tour overall. Highly recommend Legend as your guide because he’s a direct, no non-sense, detailed guide who provides clear explanations of the carvings. You won’t feel rushed even though we went thru the carvings in a timely manner.
