Denna upplevelse är en av de mest kompletta som du kan göra på en enda dag från Cartagena. Vi besökte två historiska platser i Colombia: Barranquilla och Santa Marta på en enda dag, det är viktigt att nämna att under vår turné besökte vi olika turister platser som fönstret mot världen, hajfenan, monumentet till ungen Valderrama, bland andra. Alltid i sällskap med de bästa guiderna i Cartagena, vår turné är en enda dag, perfekt för dem som vill få ut det mesta av sina semesterdagar i Colombia.

Vår turné börjar vid mötesplatsen i Camellón de los Mártires mot vårt första stopp i fönstret mot världen, upphämtningsprocessen och transfer till den första attraktionen tar 2 och en halv timme.
Den stora strandpromenaden vid Magdalenaflodens strand, denna utomhusplats med olika sport- och kulturaktiviteter, här kan vi se Golden Gate, flodens berömda kajman, ett område med olika restauranger och souvenirer.
På 30 meters höjd kan vi se den majestätiska Shark's Fin-skulpturen som restes upp som en hyllning till fotbollsklubben Junior de Barranquilla. Oroa dig inte för bilderna, det kommer att finnas folk här som hjälper oss med våra bästa poser för tik toks.
En av de emblematiska platserna i Barranquilla är monumentet Window to the World. Det var inte tänkt som ett enkelt fönster, utan som ett som kommer att visa Barranquillas historia genom ett utomhusgalleri och speglar utvecklingen och potentialen i en ständigt växande stad. Fönstret är en projektion av två fundament som representerar Barranquillas kreativitet och talang. Tiden är cirka 30 minuter som vi lägger till 2 och en halv timmes transport till detta första stopp på vår turné.

Vid vårt besök i Santa Marta måste vi känna igen ursprunget till en av de mest representativa fotbollsspelarna i hela Colombia, "Pibe" Valderrama, det mytiska nummer 10 i det colombianska fotbollslaget. Skulpturen är placerad utanför fotbollsstadion Eduardo Santos. Det mest representativa med Pibe Valderrama är hans rikliga, blonda hår, och i den sex meter långa statyn som är gjord av brons görs hans hår sträng för sträng med totalt 3 500 stycken lindad brons. Den skulpterades av Amilkar Ariza som inte lämnade någon detalj av den berömda fotbollsspelarens ansikte åt sidan.
Tiden på dygnet som vi alla väntar på och det är just dags att bada i poolen eller på stranden beroende på varje persons smak, här kan vi även ta vara på den för att äta vår mat.
På denna plats börjar vi vår vandring genom de viktigaste punkterna i Santa Marta som Bolivar Park, Grooms Park, Santa Marta Cathedral, Gold Museum och kolonialstaden. En historisk och kulturell rundtur från vilken vi kommer att lämna med mycket kunskap om denna vackra plats.

The tour operator not only didn’t show up, but also didn’t have the courtesy to let me know they were not coming. They didn’t answer their phone! It made me stand up in front of my hotel from 3:00 am to 4:30 am, until I called the Vaiator operator, your operator couldn’t contact them as well! Not only did it mess up my day, but I also couldn’t go back to sleep! There should be a penalty for the company to notify those who mistreat the travelers.
We tried to contact you the day before, but you did not respond to our messages. The refund was made in full. We have all the evidence to prove it.
I am an inhabitant of Barranquilla, I recommend that in the tour include sectors such as El Prado neighborhood, so that you can see the houses republican style, colonial, gothic, it is also filling with good restaurants that delight the night the sector, also sectors of the shopping centers Buenavista 1, Buenavista 2 and Mall Plaza. Not to mention the sports arenas such as the Edgar Renteria, Metropolitan Stadium, the Downtown neighborhood, the house and museum of the carnival.

I will try to point out the good things first. The driver was excellent. Pleasant through the trip and stopped to accommodate bathroom needs. The tour itself was good, if you spoke Spanish fluently. We requested an English speaking guide but we were not accommodated. Luckily one of the tourists, like us, spoke Spanish and English, and translated to the best of her ability. Also the toilet on bus did not flush and there was no soap. Thank God for hand sanitizer! that I brought. Also the electrical sockets did not work. The Barranquilla portion of the trip could have been longer and more detailed. Maybe even an hour at the beach in Barranquilla or a quick downtown walking tour would have been nice. Overall, though the guide seemed pleasant. I just wished she could have communicated with us like the Spanish speaking tourists.

This tour had to be the least enjoyable tour i have ever been on. Its mostly a money grab. Trip took almost 16 hours with nothing to really see or do. I paid 212 u.s.dollars for spending 10 hours in a very uncomfortable bus. You dont reslly see Barranquilla only the outskirts of town. I paid for english guide however it was entirely in Spanish. Picked up at 4:45 am dropped off at 8:25 pm and i still have no idea what was the basis of this tour and it definitely was not Barranquilla food was basic. You have to pay to use the atrocious bathrooms along the way. Dont book this tour what a rip off. You really only see a few statues. Trust me its not worth the money. Rent a car it will cheaper and more enjoyable.
Dear Raul, we understand that your needs were not met satisfactorily as you expected, so I leave here some details about your comments: First of all everything that is done during the tour is indicated in the content of the product, the statues as you call them are part of the same tour in the tour of the city of barranquilla, likewise the pick up schedule is established and the duration of the same so we are surprised that you find it strange or excessive time being that all this is indicated in the product before you could make the purchase. I can recommend you in your next tours in any other city in the world to choose the private tours since that way you would not have to drive a rented car as you suggest in your comments and you would have a more flexible schedule for the visit. This was my favorite city tour. Barranquilla is completely different from Cartagena—it’s a metropolitan city rich in history. The vendors here are more laid-back, and the local food and coffee are delicious. The tour guides, Cesar and Joa are AWESOME! They are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and make the tour experience memorable. They go the extra mile for you to have a good time.
