Amer Fort (ofta stavat "Amber") är ett fort beläget i Amer, Rajasthan, Indien. Amer Fort, som det står nu, byggdes över resterna av denna tidigare struktur under regeringstiden av Raja Man Singh, Kachwaha King of Amber. Byggandet av Fortet startades år 1592. Strukturen utvidgades fullständigt av sin efterföljare Jai Singh I. Senare tog Amer Fort förbättringar och tillägg av efterföljande härskare under de närmaste 150 åren, tills Kachwahas förskjutit sin huvudstad till Jaipur under tiden Sawai Jai Singh II, 1727 .Amer Fort är känt för sina konstnärliga hinduiska stilelement. Med sina stora vallar och serier av grindar och kullerstensgator, har fortet utsikt över Maota-sjön. Detta magnifika fort består av ett omfattande palats komplex, byggt av ljusgul och rosa sandsten och vit marmor.

Great experience. Damo drove us where we wanted and showed us the flower market. He added some explanation to the tour so that we learnt some things. He was also attentive to us during the heat pic.
