It was a pretty insightful tour that introduced us to the life of ordinary people in Hong Kong and its complicated real estate situation. On the way you can see interesting illustrative objects that not every tourist will pay attention to or know their meaning. Great choice if you have seen more sunny, touristic side of Hong Kong.

Stephen is a wonderful guide and a passionate advocate for socially disadvantaged communities in Hong Kong. On our tour, he took us through a district filled with squalid tenements and explained how landlords take advantage of a real estate loophole to subdivide apartments and oppress the poorest members of society. Stephen’s vast knowledge of this issue and the changing laws skilfully brought this story together into one of hope. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. This is not glitzy Instagram Hong Kong. Resembles more of a lecture than a discovery walk of the inhabitants' way of life and their difficulty in finding housing
