Och för dem som älskar det skrivna ordet, kommer du att bli glad av att dyka in i Brontë-landets sidor och utforska städer som Haworth, där de berömda Brontë-systrarna bodde och skrev och inspirerade. Utforska den charmiga staden Haworth, hem till Brontë-systrarna. Du kan besöka Brontë Parsonage Museum (öppettiderna varierar). Njut av de pittoreska butikerna, kaféerna och kullerstensgatorna och se varför Brontës hittade inspiration här. Fans av The Railway Children bör besöka Oakworth Station, som finns med i serien.
Vår bilresa genom Yorkshire Dales erbjuder fantastiska landskap - böljande kullar, karga hedar och pittoreska dalar. Du kommer att märka de framträdande kalkstensdetaljerna överallt, från klippor och grottor till hällar och ärr.
Vi anländer till Grassington, "hjärtat av Yorkshire Dales" och den verkliga miljön för Darrowby i All Creatures Great & Small. Och bara en kort fem minuters promenad från parkeringen hittar du skönheten i Linton Falls. Om det har kommit mycket regn (det är trots allt Storbritannien) kommer du att höra deras åskande rop när du närmar dig. Du har ledig tid i Grassington för att utforska och ta en bit mat.
Detta vattenfall i tre nivåer har lockat besökare i över 200 år, inklusive framstående figurer som poeten William Wordsworth och målaren JMW Turner. Det kan också se bekant ut från filmen Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
Vi anländer till Wensleydale Creamery, väktare av ett 1000 år gammalt arv. Från deras ikoniska, krämiga, smuliga klassiska Yorkshire Wensleydale-ost till de rika, smöriga smakerna av Fountains Gold, detta är en dröm för ostälskare.
En stolt uppvisning av viktoriansk ingenjörskonst, denna imponerande uttalande struktur har otrolig utsikt över Three Peaks-bergen. Efter några bilder och lite vördnad hoppar du tillbaka på bussen och beger dig tillbaka till Manchester, och anländer tidigt på kvällen.

Pick up location is not clearly signposted. The guide was excellent. It would have been lovely if there had been an opportunity to walk outside in the countryside.Howevet, I appreciate that there were time constraints.
This was a small group tour only 5 people. Pete our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tour was well planned and went to some lovely locations. Would recommend this trip.
Very good tour, Pete as the guide was great, helpful, and funny. The ride was comfortable, the pace medium, the creamery at the end is a vay to end on a high note as all of the cheese was delicious 😋 Highly recommend!
This day trip is very much worth going on. The ride was good, the people were good and the locations were good. It was nice to see a part of England that wasn't a city.
I absolutely loved this day trip. It was a rainy day so I thought I may as well be on a warm bus and the rain and mist only added to the atmosphere. I loved the stops and really enjoyed each village we went too but Haworth was a standout. It’s a must do for any fans of the Brontë sisters. The food in all stops was amazing. I thought the price was great for a full day out. I did have a bit of trouble finding where the tour left from but a staff member from Dobbies rang me and told me to put ‘department of education’ into google maps and I found it easily.
You must make this excursion at all costs for the magnificent landscape with its valleys enhanced by the presence of sheep. What to say about the guide’s comments describing Yorkshire’s customs and habits, its funny anecdotes using delicate and timely humor along the way. The first stop in Haworth seemed too short for me to take in the time I spent at the museum. I would have liked an extra 30 minutes. Brassington impressed me with his stunts in the raw. The stop at the creamery seemed more “commercial” to me: they sell their products there. The stop, however brief, at Ribblehead Viaduct , the highlight of an excursion in such a pastoral landscape an excursion away from the urban frenzy inviting calm.
Had a lovely trip to the Yorkshire Dales today with Rob and Mike. They were very friendly and helpful and gave lots of interesting facts and relevant songs along the way.
Great driver very knowledgeable. The dales are beautiful and the villages very quaint. Would recommend but if only could do one of the trips I would recommend the lakes one over this
The tour is very laid back and slower paced compared to other tours by the same company, which makes it a perfect last tour in my opinion before going back home. The Bronte museum was the highlight of the tour, but everything else was very enjoyable as well. The beautiful landscapes we came across, the pretty villages we visited, and the cute sheep we encountered all made for an excellent trip. My only advice is to research the last stop beforehand hand for things to do if you're not interested in visiting the creamery. I did some much needed final shopping before leaving the UK!
