Vi kommer att resa öster om Siem Reap för att besöka den avlägsna fiskebyn Kompong Khleang börjar med en morgontur i luftkonditionerad komfort till den stora Tonle Sap-sjön och fortsätter med en resa uppför Kleangfloden ombord på våra privata flodfarkoster och se hus på styltor flyr från översvämning under regnperioden och observerar kambodjanskt sätt att leva på kanten av den största sötvattensjön i Sydostasien. Picknicklunch på lokalt hus i byn. Lämna av på ditt hotell efter turnén.

Din lokala engelsktalande guide möter dig klockan 8 från ditt hotell. När du reser till sjön Tonle Sap, som kommer att ta cirka 1 timmes bilresa och du kommer att passera marknader och små byar och längs vägen till sjöns kant. När vi når Khleangfloden, går vi över till en privat flodfarkost för nästa fas av vår resa – en lugn tur som tar oss till byn Kompong Khleang och sedan vidare till den översvämmade skogen och gården (under torrperioden okt-juni ). När du når byn kommer du att märka att många av husen är byggda på höga pålar, några är så höga som 10 meter. Med din guide besöker du byn och senare kommer vi att ha picknicklunch ett lokalt hus i Kompong Khleang där du kommer att njuta av livsstilen i byn. I slutet av turen tar vi oss tillbaka till Siem Reap och släpper av dig på ditt pensionat eller hotell.

Fantastic day! We were so well taken care of and got to experience some truly amazing sights.
Recommended for something different! Our guide, Sing (Siv Kuysin), was great and very accommodating and engaging. He fully explained everything and answered all our questions. The lake was amazing, the lunch was even better, and learning about life in the fishing village was extremely interesting.
Excellent tour. Our guide, Mr Nak, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We felt safe on the boat and in the van. The lake was massive. The lunch was amazing and plentiful. We got to see inside a school, community centre, and a temple, and eat lunch at a nice homestay. សូមអរគុណ!
What we loved about this trip was it was a less touristed village so you got a glimpse of actual life: children taking boats to/from school, young boys practicing boat racing for an upcoming festival. In the town center listened as locals participated in recycling education and later heard chanting. On the water we passed boats that were gathered on the water to sell their fish and finally just sitting on the boat in the lake talking with our guide, Nak, who was very happy to teach us about his culture and was open to our many questions. Lunch at the home stay was delicious and filling. It was a wonderful opportunity to see inside a stilted home and after lunch enjoyed a brief rest in the hammocks and watched the world go by while soaking in the perfect weather.
Our guide Mr. Nak and driver Mr. Pheap were prompt and courteous. Our Tonle Sap tour was affected by late season rains but they worked hard to find other interesting sights along the way and gave us insights into the local way of life. Mr. Nak spoke excellent English and also provided translation for conversation with the local boat driver. It was another great experience from Green Era.
My 84 yr old parents had a great time, learned alot, met & took pics with a monk, and met a classroom of schoolkids (they are retired teachers). Only had good things to say about the tour and tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Definitely the best tour with a guide I have ever experienced. They showed us very interesting local life in the floating village of Kompong Khleang. 100% worth the money.

Me and my girlfriend had a very nice tour with our guide Voath. He was very handsome and spoke good English. Also he could provide good knowledge to everything we asked. The lake itself is huge and almost surreal. The village was super interesting to see as well.

This trip was one of the highlights of our vacation and my family and I highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to see how Cambodians are living outside of the main tourist areas. The village is stunning and green era travel was perfect. Our guide choub and driver Channa were very professional, kind and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Cambodian history and how the locals are living. There was no question that went unanswered. We were picked up at our hotel on time, we drove out to the village and walked through for a bit. We stopped and had some local smoked fish and then continued to our boat. We road along the river until we got to the lake and floated there for a while as we watched the sun go down. After the boat trip ended we were dropped at the restaurant we wanted to go to. No hussle, no messing us about. Transportation, a unique village and a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Exactly what we wanted.

I went with my sister for the tour and we had an amazing time. Both our driver Vong and our tour guide Nak were amazing to deal with. I’ve learned so much about the history of Cambodia and we learned all about the local people and their customs. It was great to meet the local people and Nak was very helpful when we had any questions or if we needed anything he was always very happy to assist. It was especially great to get the tour from Nak as he is a local of the village and grew up there. I would definitely recommend this tour for everyone as it’s very informative and very interesting. I would come back again during wet season just so I could see the water levels when they are high too. 10/10
