Från Kandy: 6.30 Från Sigiriya börjar klockan : 17.00 (Du kan behöva vänta till 17:00 trots att du är redo att lämna tidigt eftersom detta är en grupptur) Sigiriya Rock Fortress och Dambulla Cave Temple är ikoniska platser i Sri Lanka och alla resenärer som besöker Sri Lanka vill gärna se dem. Denna tur ger dig möjlighet för sådana resenärer att uppfylla sina krav inom en kort tidsperiod och till ett överkomligt pris. Ett gammalt hinduiskt tempel beläget på vägen till Dambulla

Byggd av kung Kashyapa under regeringstiden av 473 – 495. Höjd är 660 fot och måste klättra upp 1200 trappsteg för att nå Lion Rock-fästningen på toppen av Sigiriya. Det finns flera plattformar som bryter upp stegen och tillåter en liten paus om du behöver det. Sigiriya världsarv är mångsidigt och mångsidigt tilltalande, och det är en av Sri Lankas gamla politiska huvudstäder och Sri Lankas mest sensationella kulturarv.
Besök den traditionella byn Sigiriya för att bevittna den enkla livsstilen för folket i Sri Lanka. Du kan se hur jordbruks- och jordbruksaktiviteterna bedrivs, tillagning av autentiska lankesiska rätter med bästa kryddanvändning, etc. Du kommer att serveras en utsökt lankesisk lunch i slutet.

Vi kommer att ordna ett terrängfordon att åka in i parken för de som är villiga att prova denna aktivitet.

We started early in the morning and covered major sites like Sigiriya, Dambulla Cave temple and Minneriya National park safari in the same day. In extra, our guide cum driver Dulaj took us to spice garden as well. All the way, Dulaj drove excellent. Thanks to the trip coordinator Mr Geesara.

Such a great day with Amila from Mahaweli tours. Amila was so knowledgeable, professional and generous with his time every step of the way. He made it a really fun day and I would highly recommend.
My experience with Mahawali Tours was exceptional, I booked the Sigiraya tour and also transfer through them. All their drivers have been extremely professional, welcoming, helpful and have gone above and beyond to make sure I was getting the best experience and have given me many nice recommendations.
Our driver Dulaj was excellent. We were picked up in Kandy and driven to Sigirya and the Dambulla. We also stoppped in Natalie to view a wonderful Huddhu temple and also a spice and herb farm both were very interesting . We then went to the Sigiriya Rock before it was too hot. The climb is a big challenge and not for the faint hearted but so worth the view and achievement value at the top. We then visited the Dambulla cave temples. We didn’t like to do more stairs after the Rock but the cave temples are so worth going to see - the size of the lying Buhhds is so different. Then on the way back to Kandy Dulaj took us to the centre of Sri Lanka!!!! There is a really ancient tiny temple to see there, Dulaj made the amazing trip to Dambulla and Sigiriya Rock one of the best trips we have had.
Amila was our tour guide for the day, and he was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly friendly, kind, genuine, and cooperative throughout the entire trip. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and truly gave us a wonderful impression of the warm hospitality and kindness of the Sri Lankan people. He made the experience unforgettable. The company was also excellent , very communicative, organized, and highly responsive from start to finish. I truly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. I had an amazing day tour to Dambulla, Sigiriya, and Safari from Kandy with Amila! He was very enthusiastic, friendly, and made the whole journey enjoyable from start to finish. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how thoughtful he was — he often offered to take pictures for me so I could fully enjoy and remember the experience. The tour was well organized, comfortable, and absolutely worth the full 12-hour journey. From climbing Sigiriya to exploring Dambulla and experiencing the safari, every part of the trip was memorable. We had such an amazing day exploring Dambulla and Sigiriya from Kandy, and Shanaka truly made the experience seamless and memorable. He was punctual, friendly, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire trip. The day was well-organised, with the perfect balance of sightseeing and downtime, which made a big difference—especially with the heat! Shanaka was always checking in on us, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every stop along the way. His calm and easygoing nature made the journey feel relaxed, and his local knowledge helped us get the most out of both Dambulla and Sigiriya. Ana amazing experience, I had Shanaka as my guide who was really lovely and accomodating. It turned out to be a private tour not a group tour which meant he gave me the option of what I wanted to do so we did a Sigiriya village tour instead of the safari which was incredible highly recommend (and a lot cheaper). Includes riding in a traditional cart and then a boat ride where the guide made me a bouquet of flowers and necklace and then a lovely lunch with traditional Sri Lankan food! We also visited the dumbulla cave temples and I climbed the sigiriya rock which was breathtaking. Highly recommend if you want to tick of a lot of spots in one day.
