Chaouen eller Chefchaouen den blå pärlan är en stad som ligger i berget Rif, i nordvästra Marocko. Det är känt för de anmärkningsvärda byggnaderna i olika nyanser av blekt blått i sin gamla stad. Staden Ouazzane är välkänd i Marocko och i hela den islamiska världen som en andlig huvudstad eftersom den var hem för flera pelare inom sufismen. Det har också varit känt som "Dar Dmana" ("Säkerhetens hus") på grund av att det innehåller graven för 1700-talets Idrisi Sharif. Många judar i Marocko anser att Ouazzane är en helig stad och vallfärdar dit för att vörda graven för flera marabouter (marockanska helgon), särskilt moul Anrhaz, det lokala namnet på rabbinen Amram ben Diwan, en rabbin från 1700-talet som bodde i staden. och vars gravplats är förknippad med ett antal mirakel.
Chefchaouen, även känd som Chaouen, är en stad i nordvästra Marocko. Det är huvudstaden i provinsen med samma namn och är känd för sina byggnader i blå nyanser, för vilka den har smeknamnet "Blå staden". Det ligger i en bergig region i norra Marocko, mellan Tétouan och Ouazzane.

It is a long 5 hour drive both ways from Casablanca to Chefchaouen but it was good to see the diversity of Morocco. Our driver Ilyas was so kind & took good care of us, always offering water & checking that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble & we had as much time as we wanted. Our guide Buba in Chefchaouen was full of knowledge as he was born & bred there and wanted us to have a good experience. We chose to do it as a day trip so that we didn’t have to lug our cases around.

It’s very interesting, educational, & enjoyable. The driver Kamal was very considerate, patient & understanding. The tour guide , Abdul was so knowledgeable but not just that , he made Chefchouen not just gaining knowledge of the place interesting, but exciting & enjoyable. Both were considerate & patient with me because both of them made it easy for me to manage myself due to my limited mobility. I highly recommend your company & the people that made our stay in Marrakech so interesting & exciting.

A very long day but well worth it! Ilyas was a fantastic driver/guide with a wealth of knowledge & love of all things Moroccan. He was a real gentleman who took such good care of us. Baba was our Chefchaouen tour guide who was also very knowledgeable, sweet & patient. Chefchaouen was so unique & beautiful, not to be missed! I highly recommend this tour.

Our driver was Ilyas and was knowledgeable about the countryside and towns over the 4 hour drive. Very safe also. So courteous. Bubba was our tour guide in the village and he was raised in Chef Chaouen! What a delight he was. Everyone knows Bubba and he has many stories of religion, history from 400 yrs. Ago, and recommendations. Every aspect of this is worth it.

Group tour turned into a private tour for us. Both driver and town guide spoke English well. Full of information on the drive. Our guide grew up in the town and knew everyone and everyone knew him. It was a long drive from Casablanca and then back but we were glad we did the trip. I'd suggest maybe staying in Rabat or Tangier and taking the shorter drive to the town. We were flying out the next day back to USA so we didn't want to complicate it by staying in a town that is closer. Final thought - this town was the highlight of our trip. Not to be missed.

Everything was just perfect. We felt in love with the Chefchaouen. Couldn't stop taking pictures. We were picked up at hotel by Ilyas, who did everything to make sure our trip was very comfortable and enjoyable. Upon arrival to the blue city we were met by English-speaking tour guide, who showed us this beautiful city. We had good lunch at a very nice restaurant. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour to the blue city Chefchaouen with a super professional and friendly driver guide Ilyas in a very confortable car, he was always eager to answer and give us information to our questions. We stopped half way for a drink, and pictures. My family had a wonderful day in chefchaouen with a great english guide. We highly recommed this tour with Ilyas.
