Klockan 08:00 hämtar din chaufför dig från ditt boende och kör västerut. På vägen stannar du för att se de heliga träden i Argan. Det är ett speciellt träd anpassat till halvökenområden och värderas för sina medicinska egenskaper. Getter klättrar i dessa träd för bete och för att lära dig mer om arganproduktion kan du besöka ett av de kvinnliga kooperativen i området som arbetar med utvinning av både näringsrik och kosmetisk olja. Vårt mål är den historiska staden Essaouira, en liten kuststad med en gammal befäst fiskehamn. Staden grundades på 1500-talet av portugiserna som ockuperade den fram till mitten av 1700-talet och består av en fantastisk blandning av portugisisk, berbisk och fransk arkitektur. Du kommer att ha tillräckligt med tid att utforska den lilla staden på din fritid, såsom souker och snickeri workshops tillägnad Thuya träsnideri. Se många konstgallerier i medinan och besök den befästa hamnen med sina stånd av färsk fisk.

Our private driver was Mohamed. Daytrip to Essaouira to the atlantic coast and he was so smart and nice. We had a good time doing jokes and conver-sation. He was in time and showed us special regions. Every time again.Thanks for being our hero of the day ;0)

We did day trip to Essiaoura and spent 2 nights in Marakesh, 1night in Agafay. Yusef was our driver throughout the 3 night trip and made our trip amazing. Very safe driver, speaks great English. Very great especially for American travelers. Always smiling, funny guy, adds great vibes for those drives.

After getting waylaid by illness, my fiancee and I needed to catch up with our tour group in Essaouira.
