It is fast paced. If u want to spend more time at the exhibits you should book an all day tour or view it on your own.
Jake gave a sober, informative overview of the Nazi's first of many terrible concentration camps, exactly what I'd hoped my teenage daughter would appreciate. Every thinking person should learn about this chilling chapter of our history, what depravities humans are capable of inflicting upon others, so that it never happens again. Earlier that same day we'd taken the Third Reich walking tour in Munich, also with Jake, which perfectly complements the Dachau tour. It was a heavy and mind-numbing experience but something we need to know, and Jake is an excellent and energetic teacher. By the way, he looks to me like Kevin Costner, not that it should matter.
My two teenagers and I went on this tour with Jake as our guide. It was great experience. Our guide had a familial connection with the Holocaust so it was powerful to hear the history from someone with a direct connection. The transportation was easy and our guide made sure we got on the right train and bus coming and going. My two teenagers enjoyed it so you know it must be good!!
It was a fantastic experience to visit Dachau. Aileen’s knowledge of Dachau and the way she shared the history made it feel “personal” and brought out feelings of anger and sadness at what happened at the concentration camp. Many Kudos to Aileen!!!
Our guide, Aileen was extremely knowledgeable and improvised when possible to keep us out of the rain.

At first we weren’t going to book a tour, we were just going to try “wing it” and visit Dachau on our own. Thankfully we wised up and paid for the Radius tour through Viator. It was the best experience. We learned so much from Alex and he did a fantastic job of taking care of all the details. Whatever you are paying him, double it! We feel very lucky to have had Alex as our guide!

What a great experience! I had been to Dachau before but Rich made it an absolutely superb experience. It is a very sobering experience but a great one nonetheless. Kudos to Rich.

Our tour guide Patricia was excellent in guiding us around the camp. It's a very difficult subject to speak about, and she maintained appropriate sensitivity as she explained what we were seeing.
