We enjoyed this tour but given the distances and the challenging drive up to Hue, we didn't have enough time to fully explore the royal palace complex, which was fascinating. Also, we were first brought to a marble shop (it is not uncommon in my experience for there to be a "sightseeing" stop at a commercial enterprise). This ate into our time as well. However, the guide and driver were very attentive, knowledgable and helpful. Da Nang is a beautiful city with a historic role in the Vietnam War and Hue is a great example of the noble past of the Vietnamese. Again, we just wished we had more time.
I couldn't ride a dragon boat at a local festival or anything. Moreover, without any explanation or apology, the participants asked and finally said it out loud. The way he put it was that there was no way he could ride because it was more than 10 times more expensive than usual. I should have known that when I booked, when I left, but there was nothing to make up for. I'm still angry just remembering it. What's more, the guide is clearly sloppy. It was a horrible tour.
I have spent one full day to visit all of this place because its too large. If you are going to visit here, you should go in the early morning and your kids will be tired if you take them along. And you have to take a guide so that you can understand more and know more.
Tour was excellent, guide was knowledgeable, courteous and very helpful. Saw everything we expected to see with a complete understanding of the history
I went on a private tour with a Japanese guide and transfer to and from my hotel in Hoi An. I was surprised that the Fe Dynasty was strongly influenced by Chinese culture. We asked a tour company called Tabinaka, but were blown away by the lack of knowledge of the Japanese guides and the way they fell asleep on the return train. The guide said that he had studied languages in Japan, but there were several times when he did not understand the question.

very nice experience! Out guide, 11, was very knowledgable and gave us lots of information about the sights and cultures. As my husband is a history buff, they had great conversations!

Great trip, really friendly knowledgeable guide, brilliant places to visit. Was a bit nervous on the road though, driver was always on phone texting and talking and a few dodgy overtaking moves but we got there and back ok.

I looked for a tour but nearly everybody don't accep : you have to be with at least 2 people. That makes traveling in Vietnam a bit difficult because many tours look so great

Great tour. Our guide was very smart and definitely enhanced the trip and made it all the more enjoyable.

Our tour guide is very friendy and speaks English very well.
A family with two teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the history and architecture of Hue.
