Vi ska bege oss till lokala hotspots för att upptäcka de verkliga kulinariska skatterna i staden, bort från turisterna och där generationer gamla restauranger har stått sig genom tiderna. Allt tillsammans med en insider foodie Guide för att förstå de många lagren av regional mat i centrala Vietnam.

Vår kvällsmatstur bjuder in gäster på en kulinarisk upplevelse runt Da Nang. Det är ett noggrant kurerat matäventyr, lett av vårt team av professionella matguider. Innan vi sätter igång speglar vår tur det lokala köket, och begränsningarna hos gatumatsförsäljare innebär att vi tyvärr inte kan tillgodose alla kostrestriktioner. Här är en ärlig värdering för turnén, så ingen blir besviken: ✘ Olämplig för vegetarisk kost ledsen, eftersom det skulle vara 5 - 6 färre provsmakningar. ✖️ Olämplig för svåra allergier, halal- och celiakidieter, på grund av risken för spår och korskontaminering. På andra sidan floden Han-bron ligger en kulinarisk hotspot som avslöjar de verkliga mathjältarna i Da Nangs mest utsökta gatumat. Följ med på vår matrundtur i generationer gamla lokala matställen, med välbevakade familjerecept, och kasta deras eldgrillade wokar som skymningen träffar. Vissa är så bra att de tog sig in på Michelinlistan (något som stadens knyckiga granne Hoi An ännu inte har uppnått). Från strängig vermicelli med marinerat fläsk, till köttfärs insvept i piper lolot blad. Gör dig redo för rostad com gà kyckling med gurkmeja ris, och ångad riskaka toppad med flagiga apelsintorkade räkor. Vi sörplar på fiskkaka nudelsoppa, och ångkokta musslor med citrongräs, arbetar våra ätpinnar över whiteleg räkor och grillad kaninfisk. Bland många fler överraskningar finns det 15 + provningar för att verkligen förstå centrala Vietnams episka smak av regionala rätter.
Turen avslutas med ett sött stopp, går full cirkel tillbaka vid bron vi startade. Vårt mål är att erövra Da Nangs epicentrum för riktig mat, endast för lokalbefolkningen-i-vet.

Had an awesome experience. Great finds for authentic Vietnamese/Danang cuisine and bites.
The Chefs Tour with Vivian was exceptional. Over the years I have experienced a number of food tours and I have to say this is the best I have encountered. The food was plentiful but the highlight for me was the diversity of food. We tried things that you don’t come across at your local Vietnamese restaurant back in your home country. Vivian was also extremely knowledgeable and provided interesting commentary as we walked through the interesting streets of Da Nang. I would highly recommend this tour.
Even in the heat, the tour was a great experience. The spots we visited were definitely ones we would not have found on our own. It was a wonderful experience.
Guide was excellent . Stephanie was very informative about what I was experiencing with each plate to include some background about the establishments we were visiting . Above and beyond , she gave me some good insight on Vietnamese life/culture . Would reccomend tour !
An interesting tour through the back streets of the old town in Danang. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient. Huong guided us on a thoughtful well presented foodie night.
My partner and I were the only ones, so it was a private tour. Vivienne was an amazing tour guide and a local to Da Nang. We could not speak more highly of her. It was truly lovely having someone to show us around trying new food we would never have thought to try and explaining the history of businesses to us that instagram never could. The dishes were absolutely incredible and you could tell this whole tour was created by a local. This was my second ‘A chefs tour’ and I would recommend this experience to anyone. It is easily accessible and delicious! Don’t eat at all before coming because there is too much food to eat and good times to have :)
I have been on multiple tours from A Chef's Tour in different cities/countries and they have all been great. This one was no different. Vi was my tour guide, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. We tried a variety of local foods that I probably would have never tried or found on my own. Highly recommend if you are in Da Nang. As always with A Chef's Tour the food is plentiful. You are never going to leave one of their tours feeling hungry.
My partner and I have done a number of A Chef's Tour in Asia and the one in Đà Nẵng was of our favourites! We were introduced to numerous local dishes that were chock full of flavor. Our guide Ms. Hương did a wonderful job showing us around the city during our tour. Her English proficiency while speaking provided us with a clear understanding of local life style and the historic significance of certain areas of Đà Nẵng that we passed by on the tour. She always ensured that we were comfortable and most importantly full by the end of the tour! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a taste of Đà Nẵng beyond just good eats! And hopefully you are just as lucky as us and get Ms. Hương as your guide!
