Booked this tour knowing exactly how dark the topic was… I’ve unfortunately seen enough documentaries to know what I was signing up for. 😂 What I didn’t know was what to expect from the actual tour itself. Turns out, it was really well done. The cigar bar where it starts was a great spot, and all the staff there were awesome. The tour guide was knowledgeable, easy to listen to, and kept a pace where nobody was getting left behind fighting for their life on the sidewalk. Yes, heavy subject matter. But also a genuinely interesting experience and a surprisingly fun time if you’re into history, true crime, and walking around Milwaukee learning things you probably shouldn’t know.
Amazing tour filled with history about the city and obviously Dahmer. For me, understanding the context of how everything happened is extremely important and they did an excellent job explaining that.
It is very detailed and graphic but you are pre-warned before the tour. You meet inside the cigar bar and you get a small souvenir at the end. Miranda was our tour guide who was very knowledgeable and gave a very detailed account.
People traveling from out of town it’s a nice walk and talk to learn facts about something that happened local to this town
The tour was very informative and a unique look into this grisly episode of true crime. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tour accurately recounted the history of what happened without glorifying the perpetrator.
