Cozumel: Privat utflykt - Van eller MiniBus

We chose this tour because it provided a truly customizable tour of Cozumel. There were two of us with our driver, Diago. When I booked the trip I wrote some of the areas that I was interested in seeing. It was obvious that Diego read my comments before we even met. When we started the tour we discussed my ideas and he gave us a few of his recommendations and we ended up with a truly customized tour based on our interests which were seeing the east side of Cozumel, visiting Punta Sur and eating local cuisine. Diego is very knowledgeable about the area and had a lot of fun stories to share with us. On our drive to the east side of the island unbeknownst to Diego they were running a tsunami drill and the road was temporarily closed. Diego was quick to come up with an alternative idea to do a chocolate tour to fill some the time until the road reopened. We stopped and had the world's greatest mojito. We were having such a wonderful day that we extended our tour by 1 hour and stopped for dinner at one of the local restaurants for an amazing dinner. If you're looking for a truly customized tour I highly recommend the private Jeep Tour and choose Diego if you have a chance to pick your driver.

This tour was fantastic! We had a comfy, cool van just for our group of 8, with native Cozumel residents Chuy at the wheel and Angie as our guide. Arrangements were easy online; we were provided with a list of typical destinations selected by visitors. Angie met us right off the pier and helped us to design our own route/stops/experience to fit perfectly with the ship schedule. We learned so much about “real” Cozumel history, culture, and lifestyle today! Lunch on the back side of the island was fresh and delicious and the views just breathtaking. Visit Cozumel is a small family-owned local company that truly earns your business. They made us feel like we were spending the day with lovely sweet friends who are passionate and proud of their island.

We had an absolutely fantastic day in Cozumel thanks to our driver and guide, Jesus and Aldair. From the moment they picked us up, everything was smooth, relaxed, and fun. They took us to a beautiful beach resort where we enjoyed an awesome tequila tasting and had plenty of time to swim, relax, and take it all in. What really stood out was how friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating they were. They made us feel completely taken care of and gave us a local experience we never would have had on our own. If you’re visiting Cozumel and want a stress-free, memorable day, I highly recommend booking with them. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip! Daniel and our driver Jesus were both great guides. They were on time to meet us in a comfortable van and were very informative on our drive. As locals they knew the area well and gave us recommendations for our tour. We wanted to see the San Gervasio ruins and were open to suggestions for the rest of the day. They showed us a cenote- sink hole and stopped where we could see a cave with bats. We went on the other side of the island to see some local beaches with great views. Daniel was happy to take some group pictures for us. They recommended a wonderful restaurant on the beach for lunch. Then we stopped at a place to learn how the Mayans made chocolate and made our own candy bars for dessert! As we made our way back to the ship, it started to rain. They were even willing to give us ponchos if we needed them. It was down to a drizzle by the time we arrived, but that goes to show you how kind they were. Oh, and we even got a private serenade from them! Don’t hesitate to book with them!!

Great tour. Guide Aldair and driver Hansel were very accommodating of our requests. We discussed various sites to visit and Aldair quickly put a plan together that met our needs. We visited the eastern coast of the island and stopped for a beverage overlooking the ocean. Then went to visit Paco the crocodile who was a little shy that day and then on the Terra Maya to be immersed in Mayan culture. We made chocolate from cacao beans using similar tools of the Mayans and had tasting of local honey and liquor. Even visited a hive of Melipona bees (they don't have stingers). Jessica knowledge and presentation was fantastic. Communication was flawless throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend.

Very easy to book. Our tour was awesome from pickup to dropoff!! Aldair and Jesus "Chewy" were tons of fun and very knowledgeable about Cozumel history. They helped so much in planning our day. We went in not really knowing what we wanted to do except to see the island. We ended up seeing so many fun and interesting places. Our party of 8 would definitely book this again. We were over satisfied with this tour. Nice comfortable, air conditioned van. Super friendly, fun guides! Plus you'll get a lot of Cozumel history! Excellent day!

Our tour was awesome from minute of pickup to drop off!! Very knowledgeable guides, Aldair and Jesus "Chewy". They taught us so much about Cozumel! They were super friendly and fun!! We would definitely book again!

We had the best experience ever with Aldair and Armando! We gave him some ideas for what we wanted to do for the day, and he knocked it out of the park! We got to do everything we wanted and then some. We ate at local restaurants, drank at local bars, had coffee from a local coffee shop, saw an alligator, saw some great views, had a tequila tour and tasting, and did some shopping- all in 5 hours! The van was comfortable and they provided waters and a/c. We learned a ton about Cozumel and now want to go back for a longer stay and do another tour with him! If you are on a cruise- do this excursion- it is way better than the cruise ship excursions. Shout out to Aldair for helping my elderly mother in law walk around and cross the street. He is the best!
