Dagen börjar med att lämna London och resa mot den typiska engelska landsbygden The Cotswolds; ett område som är känt för sitt vackra landskap, charmiga byar och honungfärgade stenstugor. Vårt första stopp är den traditionella staden Burford; känd som 'Gateway to the Cotswolds'. Detta är en historisk plats där många hus går tillbaka nästan 600 år och lite har förändrats i århundraden. Under besöket blir det tid att utforska Burford, besöka den magnifika kyrkan och promenera längs huvudgatan för att besöka en blandning av oberoende familjedrivna butiker.
Byn Bibury beskrivs ofta som den "vackraste byn i England". Den charmiga scenen är en ögonblicksbild av det traditionella engelska livet i landet. Vandra längs den milda floden och se den ikoniska Arlington Row; en uppsättning av vävare stugor som nu är en av symbolerna för Cotswolds.
Vårt lunchstopp är den charmiga bosättningen Bourton-on-the-Water. Stadens flodmiljö har fått den att bli känd som "Cotswolds Venedig".
Vi fortsätter genom landsbygden till Stow-on-the-Wold, den högsta staden i Cotswolds som är en jumble av antika värdshus och antikaffärer som ligger runt det livliga torget. Den här historiska staden var inspirationsplats för JRR Tolkien och är där också den sista striden i engelska inbördeskriget ägde rum 1646.

Great tour and Niguel was an EXCELLENT guide. If you get him, you'll be lucky. Very knowledgeable and took us to some out of the way sites.
Our Cotswolds tour was a lovely experience. Our driver, Nigel was a font of information. He kept us entertained with a running commentary which was both knowledgeable and interesting. Lovely man, keen to share his enthusiasm for the area and ensure we had the best day out. And apart from a couple of unfortunate choices he had a really good playlist too! Full marks, Nigel.

What a great experience! It was our first time in the Cotswolds and i wouldn't want to go with another company! The price was reasonable for the length of the trip and the places we saw. Maybe just a half hour more in the last village or maybe in 2 of the 4 villages would really help us unwind, i wouldn't mind returning just an hour later to London even if that meant paying a bit extra. The coach was new, air conditioned, comfortable and clean. It was great that we were only 15 tourists, it was friendlier and cozier. And our driver, Nigel, just allevated the experience! We were SO SO lucky to get a driver/guide like him. I don't think i have ever had a nicer, more polite, intelligent, funny and eloquent guide! What a great guy! Very professional in terms of organising everything and giving out tips and advices and information about the villages and everything! Knew when to pause, had an excellent excellent list of songs that he played during the trip, and even put more quiet music for the return home to help us unwind. I can't say enough about how thoughtfull he was. Really, i would book with Gotours again and if possible ask for Nigel to be our guide. Thanks for everything.
